Tracks is officially in Stock at HLJ today. I'm still waiting for them to send me the payment email. Kind of sucks he is one per customer. I'm really thinking I want two of him. One to put on the stand in flying car mode, and other in Robot mode.

Does anyone here buy Two of each figure to have one in Robot mode and one is Alt mode?

I have doubles of some of the MP cars, but not a full set. I'm not all in for the entire MP collection. I am a completest and collect every repaint which makes it worse.

Yeah I struggle with the idea of buying doubles every time a new MP gets released. I love when people post pics of them standing in their robot mode, and the Alt mode in front of it.

I almost feel like we as Transformers collectors have too many options these days especially with all the Quality 3rd party figures like Fans Toys.

I won't be adding any more Takara figures to that because I won't be buying any of the other repaints and apart from Tracks am unintrested in any new mold designed after MP21....Asia Exclusive Thundercracker will probably be my last official figure.

I'm not even sure I'll keep Tracks as I pre-ordered it on impulse and the money from a resale could help pay for something else that I'm really into. The figure looks OK, but will seem like a bit of a non event compared to MMC Mirage and Badcube Sunstreaker who're characters I've been wanting for several years.

I pre-ordered Tracks from HLJ, it's showing as "in stock" on my order page, but I haven't received an e-mail about it, and am not able to estimate shipping costs yet. Weird.

I have ordered from HLJ many times. I have had Tracks on PO for months now. My account shows my order In stock, but I have not received the Payment email. As for estimate on shipping. I'm able to add Tracks to my cart, then I go to view cart and can see a list of Shipping options for him. Hope this helps explain how HLJ works. We should be receiving the payment request email today from them.

It was something I never really had an intrest in doing until the MP carbots emerged, but the price and quality was right.

The only drawback is that it eats up space pretty quickly, my usual setup is a bit different to those pics as the 84 Autobots have 2 shelves (1 for robot mode and 1 for the alt modes ) and the 85 characters and the repaints have their own shelves too.

I agree in not having interest until the MP cars came out. I think I know why I love seeing the MP cars in a group displayed in both modes. In the G1 Cartoons I always remember the cut shots when Prime says "Transform and roll out". The shot is them transforming into Vehicle mode and then traveling on a dirt rode . This Group shot is very iconic and is stuck in everyone's mind. I feel because we saw that camera shot a lot in the G1 cartoon that we now treat the cars Vehicle mode as Iconic as the robot mode. Don't know if that makes sense to anyone, but for me it does.

So In the end I like seeing the MP cars in a group shot with Prime as much as their Robot modes. For some reason I didn't get that same Nostalgic value from the Decepticons. Maybe because they would lift off the ground and fly everywhere, and didnt seem as organized as the Autobots were , at least in Group shots.

You get cheaper shipping when you bundle. You only have 60 days that an item can be held in PW, so Ironhide and Magnus are well outside that 60 day period.
