I would prefer it if he wasn't so thick and chunky. But, it's nice to see a larger, quality Grimlock that isn't a recast.

There's plenty on ebay, I guess it depends how much you're willing to pay for each figure.

I'm very happy with how FT Grimlock has turned out, the slight redesign on the claws on his dino feet doesn't look quite as harsh as it did on the lineart and the rest of the figure is more or less what I expected apart from the dino head which has quite a bit of the G1 toy in it.

Many of the gimmicks that MP08 has are not present and with FT's build quality the figure as a whole will inevitably feel a lot more solid and sturdy which will be a definite step up from MP08 which has always been a bit on the floppy side.

Grimlock is my favorite Transformer and it'll be great to get a figure of him that's a proper fit with the other FT Dinobots.

When I decided to focus on MP style figures a few years ago a complete set of Dinobots was top of my wants list. It's now only a few months away

TFS Express are getting their Badcube Sunstreaker stock later this week!

Yeah They seem to be around retail for most but I'm pretty gutted I didn't have the cash at the time when Kapow had Sever for £110 & (red) Soar for £90
To me that's the price point they should really be at not £150 ish
I think I've been spoilt by Takara's recent pricing lol.

I think Grimmy looks awesome there in the shots with Prime & for the first time I'm seeing him as he should be, a towering behemoth & with the rest of the Dinobots just looks fantastic.

My biggest problem really is what mode I'd have them in...the full line up in Dino mode just look SO good.

I'm just waiting & will be getting my order of Sunsurge in this week as well.
He looks great too.

That FT Grimlock dinosaur head sculpt looks so much better than TT's. I'll have this on my list as well as Gigapower's whenever they get to him.

Takara's recent pricing meant a lot of UK collectors including me paid £140 apiece for 2 Seeker repaints. I didn't exactly feel spoiled by that outcome, it was more a case of gritting my teeth and thinking about something else

One thing to consider with keeping them in dinosaur mode is the amount of space they take up compared to robot mode, I've got mine on a IKEA Billy bookcase which has fairly wide shelves but it's going to be a very tight squeeze to get Sludge on there and that's even with Swoop on his flight stand.

Yeah they do look huge but what an imposing setup on the shelf.
They look so damn good together, it will be criminal not to have them but funds might need to be found elsewhere to do the set for me...so much other stuff coming that I want that spare cash is hard to find lol

Disappointing that Road Rage doesn't have a nice metallic paint app like Tracks, and also lacks the flight stand! But still a nice Diaclone variant to have in the collection.

Yeah, I've not really enjoyed the hobby as much in the last year or so despite getting some great figures in that time. It's starting to feel like a chore and that says to me that it's time to make some kind of change.

The money I can raise from the sales will help pay for some more animals and whatever is needed to house them and cover any medical bills should they be needed. I haven't decided what my next pets will be yet but it'll probably be something unusual!

There's also the fact that I've got or will soon have my top 5 characters in MP form ( Grimlock, Bluestreak, Wheeljack, Sludge & Snarl ) plus secondary favorites like Sideswipe and Sunstreaker so there's not really many characters left that I'm seriously intrested in buying.

I do know how you feel though...I get like that from tine to time but tend to lay off them for a few months & then jump back in when I get the itch again.
