I hope they are mp size I missed out on skywarp

I had Asia Exclusive Skywarp from new but was never happy with the fact it cost me £140 and I recently resold it and Asia Exclusive Thundercracker and made a bit of a profit on each one so I got my money back and then some.

I don't think the MP11 mold is horrible, but there is certainly room for improvements to be made ie better foot articulation, alternate face sculpts for each character, fully articulated hands and a better transformation that doesn't have the sliding mechanism that only locks properly on certain versions of the mold.

I'm very curious how his sales will be like. BW is a favorite series but I was never too fond of this version of Prime, and I don't even remember him being in the top #5 fan poll. I'm just going to assume he was the easiest "Supreme Commander" to make for Tom/Tak.

Toyworld Devastator
This is a great-looking 3rd party Devastator, and the physically largest one yet, but like all 3rd party Devastators the individual bot modes are all over the place in terms of representing the individual characters. Another thing to consider is that all of the combiner parts are add-on; some people might not care but I do appreciate how much is incorporated into the robots themselves with the unite warriors set.

It really surprises me that after so many 3rd party Devastators, no one's even attempted to capture the individual characters in Masterpiece style.

Takara should make a MP Devastator.
If they ever did, would you want all six to be sold in a box-set or to have one released every other month over the course of a year?

I'd personally prefer to get them on at a time, allowing me to appreciate them all individually. That's how I received the originals when I was a kid and it was a blast to slowly build him up to completion. Plus, $80/mo would be a lot easier to swallow than $500 all at once :monkey5

I would love a new version of Optimal Optimus, Masterpiece or not. BW is definitely one of my favorite Transformers series too.

CW Devastator designer and former Masterpiece design team leader Shogo Hasui was directly asked about MP combiners during an appearance at SDCC last year.

He said that there were no plans for combiners in the Masterpiece line.

If Hasui himself had a say in what was made, there would probably have been MP Combaticons/Bruticus by now as he's mentioned several times that is his favorite combiner. Unfortunately he isn't high enough on the food chain to get to make that kind of decision and at the moment isn't even working on the MP line.

Separate releases, definitely. Although the idea of a MP Boxset (a first!) is kind of amazing!

If you could only buy one, would you get MP-08 Grimlock or FT-08 Grinder? I'm trying to decide. I like the Takara because it's officially licensed, the Fan Toys because of better scale.

I would get FT-08 which I might get I still need to get the rest of the dinobots. it`s hard to keep up with this line and HT star wars 1/6 stuff

I don't know I assume there will be heck they seem to make Reprolabels for lot of the 3rd party transformers im sure there might be some down the road
