If you could only buy one, would you get MP-08 Grimlock or FT-08 Grinder? I'm trying to decide. I like the Takara because it's officially licensed, the Fan Toys because of better scale.

they both are good...I am thinking selling my opened, transformed once, MP re-issue 08 Grimlock with the Scoria leg extenders because I bought a FT-08 Grinder myself

well I just did a custom job on my un devastator. I made the head look up when there formed into devastator. I used the joint and head from the perfect combiner-06 I dremeled out the head a little on the un warriors devastator head to where I can put the ratchet head to fit inside so it has the neck socket

I'd also consider GIGA's offerings. They haven't shown Grimmy yet, but if Guttur is any indication, he'll be MASSIVE and amazing looking.

I actually just PO'd this set for my UW Devy. I think it makes him look great.

what another upgrade does it come with the head sculpt to or just what I saw listed

No HS. It does seem pricey though. Most of these 3P add ons are.

Idk yet, I can cancel it later down the road if I like him enough out of the box, really. The only thing that bugs me a bit are the tiny hands and Mixmaster's tiny cab. He gets here on Saturday.

I bought the perfect effect combiner upgrade it has the same thing with moveable finger hands and the mix master cab. im going to pass on this upgrade $80 FOR THIS AND DONT GET THE HOOKS CRANE PIECE. HECK I GOT MORE FOR ALMOST 90 WITH THE TWO SETS FROM PERFECT EFFECT THEN THIS SET

I don't know I assume there will be heck they seem to make Reprolabels for lot of the 3rd party transformers im sure there might be some down the road

XTransbots are going to be the first company to tackle Cliffjumper & Hubcap,


Obviously the realistic alt mode looks nothing like the cartoon but MP Bumblebee set a precedent and a Chibi alt mode would look pretty stupid in with all the other carbots.

If the robot mode looks suitably decent I'd certainly consider Cliffjumper who's my most wanted Minibot but XTransbots have got that many figures in the works that I can see a better effort emerging before they even get theirs out there.

Good to see someone finally having a go at the character though, even if it's from one of the B-listers of the 3rd party scene.

If FT decided to do their first Minibot Cliffjumper would be as good a choice as any, there'd be far less concerns about the final build quality than with XTransbots as well.

After almost achieving mass shifting on Warpath I think a Badcube Cliffjumper would probably have the ability to pull a massively oversized gun from thin air

That project has been very quiet for a while now, quiet enough that other companies are probably thinking of doing their own Jazz.

If that's the case, I hope Fans Toys, Badcube or MMC do it.

Well in the show Ravage was the size of a large Puma or something, relative to humans. And those Spike figures are made to be in-scale with the TFs. So I guess the original Ravage isn't totally out of scale with all figures.
