From the guy who brought us our first look at the Energon Combiners, some Alternators and the Animated Season 3 designs:

At local agent clearance event,I met their product manager.He gave me a little blur information about Devastator.
We have some rumor and speculations about Devastator likes Energon Optimus Prime,and his words proved this.In the Gestalt version,most construction vehicles just transformable drones as a part of Devastator,no robot mode.
These vehicles will get Deluxe version,can transform to robots,but I think Deluxe version can't combine.
And he's not very sure about the members number.

And he mentioned Optimus Prime and Jetfire combine,but no details.

Yup, I'll leave it in combined form anyways (if it looks good that is). And the deluxe versions might combine after all, since the guy was unsure. But still...

Yeah I hear ya. Having actual combiners that transform is the best way to go about it. But #1, it's Hasbro. And as of late, they jip the fans out of stuff that would be really cool like that. They do have their great moments though. And #2, I think it's pretty much assumed that one would leave a combiner set in combined form, so at least we will be happy there (like you said, if these turn out good that is). But, given the leaked art, I have high hopes for these.

WOW. I take back what I said about Cyclonus, he looks so much better...Though I still like the Hasbro's versions colorscheme, save for the different browns. And Hound looks like a must have, as well! Even Cheetor looks a bit better, though not much...Don't know about Ratchet though...Looks like it could be the Hasbro version.

Henkei Hound and Cyclonus are definite must haves! They look way more superior to Hasbro's version.

That Ratchet is definitely Hasbro, you can tell by the paint job alone. Looks good though.

I KNEW that Takara would do the business with Cyclonus and perhaps more than any other toy in the line this shows what a half assed bunch Hasbro are as their version looks downright crap in comparison.

Henkei Hound also looks pretty good though I'm somewhat suprised that Takara didn't paint the molded missiles on Ravage with chrome paint.

Cheetor still sucks though and whilst Ratchet looks OK I'm hoping that those painted shots are of the Hasbro version because I think Takara would use more vibrant shades of red & white than that.

MP Grimlock looks ever more awesome with each improved set of pics and regardless of it's scale in relation to the other MP's it will be the pride of my TF collection when it arrives.

and good news is,seems only left arm is machine(label "no robot form"),the rest 6 parts have robot mode.
