Henkei Hound and Cyclonus are definite must haves! They look way more superior to Hasbro's version.

Like I said earlier, the Henkei TFs are ALL better than the Hasbro versions. I'd rather pay the extra money for the Takara versions. Hasbro dropped the ball on this line. I can understand why they can't do the chrome parts due to safety laws but stuff like the colors on Cyclonus are just pathetic. There's no reason to screw up the colors like that.

That Ratchet is definitely Hasbro, you can tell by the paint job alone. Looks good though.

This is the hasbro version, used for the henkei prototype shot. Why?

The baby blue background was present in ALL henkei first shots, which were basically hasbro figures as placeholders.

The baby blue windows on the sides; henkei would have them matching in colours with the clear windshield.

No chrome on the visible parts that Ironhide had...

True, it's a placeholder for the henkei figure, but not the actual final product.

Oh trust me, I have pretty much all of them, so I know what you're sayin. Love the Henkei stuff. Was pretty much just saying they are must haves b/c of that Cyclonus (like you said). Terrible Hasbro, terrible!

I still can't believe Hasbro shelved the Cosmos, Shockwave and Arcee Titanium figures. I was drooling all over the protos they showed at BOTCON a few years back.


In case anybody is wondering, I saw the 25th anniversary reissue Optimus Prime at Wallmart last night. I had to pass on it though cause once again Hasbro released Prime with the short smokestacks!!!!!

I still can't believe Hasbro shelved the Cosmos, Shockwave and Arcee Titanium figures. I was drooling all over the protos they showed at BOTCON a few years back.

I can agree on Cosmos and Shockwave (now there's a giant waste, that prototype kicked ass), but that Arcee was HORRIBLE.

In retrospect, most of that line was horrible...Poor designs and horrible designing, especially with the early ones.

It's not perfect but it's better than all the other Arcee figures. Have you seen that piece of S$#! movie figure?? That's one of the worst TFs released in years.

The Titanium line was great. Jetfire did suck though. Who eever thought Hasbro would release War Within TFs?!?!? I think it's great that Hasbro actually listen to their fans and did them. The Titanium Ultra Magnus and The Fallen both were awesome. THE FALLEN!! That figure was better than any of the movie crap Hasbro released that year.

The movie Arcee was the worst TOY EVER! The Fallen was better than any of the movie crap that year, but Trans Scanning is the best movie stuff, and is even better than the fallen!

Same here, I like the movie figures (especially the later ones like that little masterpiece Landmine) better then the regular ones...I hate the Transcanning figures though, so much kibble....Blargh.

As for Arcee: I'll wait until the Animated version is out. Shouldn't be long now until we see her!

As for the price, I've seen some similar custom ones sell for over 1k.

But at least those are worth it for their topnotch engineering and incredible paintjob. That Superion, though...Way to thick paint, and sometimes he just got lazy, like with the missile launchers. Not to mention that the 1k ones all go that high because of the bidders, they don't usually have a set price...

Funny thing is, thats the biggest thing that appeals to me. Just te way they look different from everyother Transformer.
