I'm not sure Hot Toys could do a good job on a real transformable Transformer, at least without help. That's a pretty specialized thing. They could make an awesome "figure" though.

Yup and he's a beaut to top it off... Now I hope hasblow actually adds some nice paint to bring out the details on this mold... The least they can do is add silver to the grey parts instead of just leaving them a dull grey which really takes away from the detail...

...Damnit, now I'm starting to wonder what Hot Toys could do with a 18 inch Prime that went for 200. Hasbro has a pretty much perfect transformation at a 40/50 dollar pricepoint, so imagine...

I dunno, it's hard to imagine there's enough improvement left to make to justify quadruple the cost. Would love for them to try though.

Well I want a full on figure regardless, but if they could make it transformable, even if it had add on pieces...That would be spectacular.

It's actually very different. A lot closer to the leader class version in a lot of ways. This is the original voyager.

so the pic I quoted before was the Voyager version, not the leader class one?

ahhhhh, gotcha'. I was actually waiting to find the Leader Prime on sale, but I guess I'll just wait for the new version. The differences are pretty obvious side to side.
