The trouble I had getting the Animated figures I wanted in the UK, was ____ing ridiculous, as I decided to collect them after the initial wave had hit.

A review of the Mini-Materpiece Optimus Prime has been posted on youtube. It sounds like it is all I hoped it to be! This is definitely my most important transformers purchase in awhile. I can't wait for mine to arrive!

It's the same toy, 2 different headsculpts are included.

I see. I thought maybe a change was made prior to production. Looks very nice! Those run $100 or so? I may well have to pick one up. I have toyed with getting Classics Prime on and off, but this guy makes him completely obsolete.

The first head was a straight copy of the official MP Prime and the second one is meant to be based on an existing bust of Prime right down to the display stand it comes with.

I have the Henkei version of the Classics mold and it's decent enough but a smaller version of the MP mold is wayyy more appealing especially without the needless electronics and the diecast which IMO only has one real purpose.......to increase the asking price.

$100 is the price on iGears site but I'll inevitably have to pay more as Kapowtoys told me via e-mail that they will likely have to charge £70 but now I know the QC is good I think it'll be a much better investment than the original which isn't really in scale with anything else I have in my collection.

I had a chance to have a bit of a play around with my Warbot today and as with the City Commander armor FansProject have knocked another one straight out of the park and have IMO delivered a huge _____slap to Hasbro's lame attempt at a Classics/Universe Springer.

It says a lot about Has/Tak when the two definitive versions of G1 Optimus Prime and Springer haven't been made by them.....iGears Prime is obviously a ripoff of Has/Tak's work but made to the scale it should have been originally and if they can do the same for MP Megatron then that'll be another official product made obsolete.

I emailed iGear directly and got this response:

PP01 was sold out, we will take orders in June for the second batch. Releasd date is about July. You can order it when we can take order in June.
