I do like the looks of that Leader Starscream (even before the repaint).
I'm thinking of picking up a Leader movie Prime to go with him. Does anybody have any opinions about whether "buster" Prime is worth the money, or is the standard version good enough?

Buster Prime is a MUST HAVE. The mold itself is already a kickass representation of movie Prime, but the new head, gun and (most important of all) incredibly sexy paintjob makes it a near Masterpiece quality figure. Definately get Buster Prime if you can. :rock

If you can afford and find him, get him! He's awesome! He has an amazing paint job, with pinstriped flames and gorgeous chrome, and the extra gun and cool head sculpt just make him even more amazing.
The regular toy is fantastic as it is, but with the extra paint buster prime just takes it to a whole new level. I wish i had one.

Hot diggity damn, the Hasbro version of MP Grimlock DOES have sharp teeth and claws!:horror But the weird part that is that there are both dull and sharp testshots out there, wonder which one will be the final version:

Some new pics of Hasbro MP-08 Grimlock...both teething versions available??!
I found some new pictures of the US Hasbro version of MP-08 Grimlock being posted on actoys.net, from a different poster than one who has provided Grimlock's pictures a while ago on the same website.

Apart from releasing of the pics, poster 红银蓝 also reveals another interesting piece of information regard to this toy - it is basically released in two different teeth and claws versions: one with round tipped teeth and dull claws as the toy showed in last set of the pics I posted in here; another version is actually identical to Japanese Takara's, which has very sharp triangle teeth as well as claw tips.

The poster seemed to be very certain about that. He claimed that he had had three in hand before, one round teeth's and two triangle teeth's. Two were already given away and he kept a "sharp" version one for himself.

In addition, his overall impression to this toy is that "its plastic parts are not as cheap looking as Takara version's and also its gold chrome is almost flawless, not like his new buy Takara one with scratches on it..." .

No toy box views available so far.

Ok, as much as ive complained about MP Grimlock being so small, if the Hasbro version is cheap enough and still has the claws and teeth i might consider buying it.

My guess is it'll be £70 at TRU, sit on shelves for months before being reduced to around £40.

Silent Bob,
Nice haul! which is your favorite?

I am pretty chuffed with all of them to be honest. The wait for new stuff due to that damn volcano did my nut in :gah:

I was really surprised by how much I like the Donald. Funky transformation and a great novelty piece.

The WST's are both great, if a little fragile, but that's to be expected I guess. I love the way Blaster matches up in size to WST Soundwave, unlike the originals.

Shadow Warrior is great to. Really good quality and fantastic detail for such a small fig. I would deffo recommend the 2 pack of Frenzy and rumble when it comes out. Will look awsome with Music Label Soundwave and Devise Label Ravage if you have them.

My fave is Warbot though :) Top figure and a proper homage to the Springer. Excellent quality and with the addition of an Autobot badge and the G3 sword I think he really pops !!

Bob

Great pics zerogouki, I like Lockdown and LOVE his character in the Animated series. And Bob, I couldn't agree with you more man. Springer er' I mean Warbot is great and I can't wait for Rodimus. :rock

£70 is pretty dang pricey for a mass retail toy. I know the TRUs here carried some expensive Star Wars light saber replicas and some other things, but in general, they know better than to charge too much for things. I figure $60 or so (about 40 pounds sterling) from the get-go.

Maybe UK-based TRUs charge more for things than those in the U.S., though. . .

Cool, I'm planning to get the 2-pack of Shadow Warrior repaints and also Device Label Ravage as I already have Music Label Soundwave.

I keep getting tempted by the Disney Label Optimouse Prime and Bumbleduck as well though I'm not sure whether to take my TF collecting on yet another tangent.

Warbot is the best TF I've bought in many a month, like City Commander it blows away any notion that all unofficially licensed products are poor quality and is better than a good deal of official stuff. I can't wait for the Protector set for Henkei Hot Rod and the first lot of proper pics of the Collector ( Wreck-Gar ) robot that they revealed was in the works a while back.

karamazov80,
It's not just TRU's that charge more in this country, it's everywhere.

Something that costs for example $60 in the US will usually be £60 here, assuming of course Hasbro even releases it and that's just the few retail options, import stores usually charge even more.

My guess at Grimlock's price is based on what happened with Hasbro's releases of MP Prime which were £60 then eventually reduced to £30.

As costs have risen a bit since then I reckon a £70 initial price is a reasonable expectation which is only £20 less than I paid for the Takara version.

BCM77 You will love Device Label Ravage! it's the best Ravage to date IMO. All the possability of the original, but doesn't look like he was run down by a steamroller :) Doesn't have the Lazerbeak head of the classics either !!

Yeah I know what you mean about moving into to many lines with the Disney Label, But I like Donald. Just wish he had been "Thuderquacker" though :lol

You both speak the Truth. Warbot is Fantastic!! I love Fansproject to bits. I have City Commander, G3 Trailer, and can't wat for the Rodimus upgrade. I bought my Henkei Rodimus about a year ago (to go with my classics) and can't wait to Prime him up!! The space has been there on my shelf for SO long.

Despite the cost (and not having Bruticus) I also have the "Swindle" and "Blast off" on order. I am just worried I'll kick myself later on if I miss out on them.
