This was a very special commission. The client is getting married in September and honored me with the commission of creating a "cake topper" for his wedding cake. He requested Prime and Elita-1, in a traditional pose. Neither transform (anymore) Both figures are 'fused' into these poses (minus the heads which can still move)

Prime was created using a Universe Prime (convoy) with a sculpted hat and bow tie. His left hand (which goes around Elita-1's waist) was modified to look as though he's holding her.

Elita-1 was created using a Fembot limited run figure which I picked up on ebay a few years ago. The figure was absolute poop as it was. very flimsy joints, limbs constantly falling off, etc. I made some mods to the figure, added the elita-1 style horns and color scheme. Also added a veil using some fabric.

Both figures are 'fused' together and the 6" base using epoxy and metal rods.

A bit upset. I recently picked up Deluxe Iron Hide, Ratchet and I'm looking for the new voyager Prime. Reason I'm upset is because these smaller versions of the figures seems to have more movie accurate look as well as transformation. I really hope Hasbro upgrade their larger scale voyager and Leader class to reflect these accuracy. Especially Voyager Iron Hide and Ratchet

:exactly:the kick topper, i mean cake topper is kick-ass. Wish I had that during my wedding. I wonder how would a 1/6 figs would look like as a cake topper :lol

Got these 2 from Walmart today, a little pricey but they are pretty neat. Took me awhile to figure out how to get Bumblebee transformed, Jazz was alot easier though. Also got Skidz on the way from ebay as well, paid about $21 shipped for him.

I think I like them cause they remind me of some of toys I had when I was younger....with the mini figs and such.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I love this line and I too was reminded of a long lost toy line from my childhood...... M.A.S.K. Anyone remember that one? Nice pics there. I see you got BB with the updated Sam. Only thing about this line is that the figs should be scaled a bit taller.

MP Grimlock is right up there with the MP Seekers, they have way more detail then MP Prime and Megs.

Grimlock's transformation was pretty basic both in the cartoon and for the original toy, what were people expecting him to do for the MP version?, he looks perfect to me in both modes and he has some neat action features.

:exactly: :goodpost: Just a fun toy overall and easily worth the cash!

I was at Toys R Us and figured what the heck, you only live once. I picked up a second Grimlock so I can display him in dinosaur and robot mode at all times.

Tempted as every time I look at mine I think I should transform him out of robot mode.

I don't collect all the Transformers, hell I don't collect really any of the Transformers outside of the Masterpiece line. That said, I'd be damned if it wasn't one of my favorite lines to collect (among HT's and SS figures) and I'm even excited about Hot Rod or Rodimus Prime. I would probably explode if they ever made a Jazz or Soundwave.

Epic figures and getting Grimlock (finally as I put off the Takara version) might have been one of my favorite things I purchased this year.

grimlock looks awesome. i'm still looking for him. missed him at tru this week. i'll prolly try again on thursday. i picked up ha jazz last night. what a great friggin' transformer.

Reckon I'll sell some of my Classics figures on eBay to fund Grimmy. . .the jacked up eBay prices seem to be going down a bit on him. Hopefully they will be near retail soon.
