Exactly as I predicted it would be.

According to XE.com that translates as $94 at the current exchange rate which is $34 more than in the US.

Most parents won't want to spend £60 on one item for their kids Christmas present especially in an economic crisis when cash isn't so plentiful and it's not really the sort of item that scalpers will go after so the smart option for UK collectors would be to wait 6 months as it'll warm shelves before being reduced to £30 just as MP Prime was.

Dub, i need as much help as i can get. I just started interested in TFs last week. And i just notice ur PM, stupid me. Pls help me. It really does look fantastic, but damn, $200? That's a bit of a tough pill to swallow, even if I expected it. I really want the trailer (because let's face it, it won't be a quadruple changer without that), but at the same time I wonder if I should wait for the Hasbro version...

And hey, is that a new Matrix I see? That's not the same one as MP Prime had, is it?
 
I was really about to purchase 2 myself, 1 to display as Rodimus and another as Hot Rod's alt mode but looks like I'll have to settle for displaying Rodimus now and wait for Hasbro's to display him in alt mode. But yeah, I think it's a new Matrix since it looks pretty small and it opens up. I don't recall if Prime's does that
 
Yeah. MP Rodimus just keeps getting better and better !! :yess:
I think it might be the best MP yet.
I am SO glad the Matrix is included. Will it light up I wonder??
I just wish he had chromed eyes like Optimus, Megs and Grimlock. It adds so much life to the fig. The seekers didn't either, so perhaps it's something to do with the face swap feature?
Small niggle though and very happy I have him on pre order !!!!

Prime's Matrix was pretty small as well, and yeah, it opened up. It's just the shape that looks a bit off, but maybe I'm imagining things.

Congrats on getting Prowl, dude!

Given the rumors about the Hasbro version not having the trailer I think I'll bite the bullet and get the Takara version because the big appeal for me is having both characters in one package.

Having a Targetmaster for Hot Rod would be cool but not at the expense of the trailer as Rodimus can't have his full alt mode without it.

I would question the rumors about the trailer though as although I'm aware of Hasbro having said in the past that trailers are too expensive to make I would be very suprised if they don't make one for the TF3 toy line even if it's only for the newer Voyager Class Prime mold.

At this point in time I only see myself getting 2 or 3 toys from TF3 and they won't be Prime or Bumblebee.

The Ferrari Italia Autobot is top of my list followed by the fire truck Autobot and Shockwave.

The only other one I'd consider would be a Leader Class Ironhide but there's no way that'll happen.
