They look good for what they are, but I think the Alternator and MP figures have spoiled me to the point where I'm not all that interested in the $10 figures anymore, cartoon-accurate or no.

Punch/Counterpunch created from the Universe Sunstreaker figure. Head's got 2 sides, and there are 2 sets of hands (one set for each faction)

Quick transformation (similar to Sideswipe) and he's a double agent.

Custom License plate, faction symbol (vinyl, then painted) articulated hands, custom "double" sided head and sniper rifle.

I do miss Alternators, but they were far from perfect. I think the HA line has fixed a lot of the problems that Alts had whilst gaining an almost perfect compromise between robot mode accuracy and alt mode accuracy.

Wreck-Gar is a nice suprise, I wonder if FansProject will still release their "Collector" figure in light of this announcement?

Tracks seems a bit mistransformed in the arm area and I don't like those flames but it's sure to get more G1 accurate ones when Takara release it in the United line so I'll just wait for that one.

Human Alliance. Nothing great though, poorly molded figures, most have mold misalignment problems, loose pins, lack luster paint jobs, etc (typical movie toys retail stuff)
I can safely say this after having EVERY HA in hand (at one point or another) and most alternators. Alternators > HA. Easily.

Although I didn't collect them, Alternators were great, rubber tires tons of details, solid chrome, nice decals, etc.

Pics of the new 'Henkei' figures. Sadly, they are barely different from the US releases, save for a slightly shinier paintjob. Not even proper faction symbols. The only one who looks a lot better is Soundwave. Cliffjumper looks nice though, but I wish he would have pink lines like Optimus, just to keep a bit of consistency.
