Its true, the autobots surrendering made no sense. And it made even LESS sense that Bumblebee would just sit there waiting to die after his hairy friend got blown away. Go out in a blaze of glory you fool! It was still cool to watch him kick ass when he finally pulled his head out though. :D

Especially when in the first two movies they establish Bumblebee as more of a bad ass warrior. Then you get more emotion shown over a robot that just shows up for a couple scenes in this movie getting blown away than an established one that was in all the movies.

not sure if this is a common question in this thread but i have a ROTF Optimus leader and was wondering what the best ironhide, ratchet, and bumblebee would be the best to be in scale with him. i was thinking of picking up the voyagers.

If you have access to a Costco, Ironhide (DOTM Leader class) is available for $35.99 and totally worth it and if you can find one Human Alliance Bumblebee is the way to go. Ratchet, not sure and I am sure Human Alliance Jazz would work too.

Anyone picking up the DMK-02 Bumblebee? No love for him? Thinking of getting him first and build him before Prime. Use him as a warm up.

Looks great! Paint detail looks nicer than what we've seen in previous pics, too.

Sure does, the only real question mark for me now is what the quality of the plastic and the joints are like.

I also hope TFC have been deliberately been holding back on releasing images of Bonecrusher and Mixmaster and that they'll be revealed in the instruction manual for Scavenger.

I think TF3 had enough problems that if someone wanted to harp on them there's quite a bit of material. But at the end of the day you could criticize the Star Wars films just as easily.

Why did the Death Star have to orbit Yavin? Just blow it up then blow up the moon the rebel base is on. Movie over.

Why did the snowspeeders all fly right into the AT-AT's faces? Don't they know that's the ONLY place that all the guns are? Just circle around from behind and harpoon them all.

Why did the Battle Droids take Jar Jar and the gungans prisoner? Didn't Sidious specifically order them to "Wipe them out, ALL of them?"

Why did the Jedi not send 50 knights to Naboo to take out Darth Maul?

And so on and so on and so on.

If these are the things you nitpick about summer popcorn fare then you're going to be at it for a very long time. They aren't perfect airtight stories.

I like Optimus Prime and the autobots and like seeing them kick ass on the decepticons. I wish the movie wasn't so bloody LOOONG but on some levels it truly delivered and others wll, yeah, not so much. But that's Bay for you.

Quoted for truth. So much fecking truth quoted right there!

Also...Lord Of The Rings. Regarded as one of the greatest trilogy's of films ever made...so why didnt frodo and the other one just fly one of those giant eagles up to the mountain and drop the ring in? So much easier, and wouldnt have required 3 3-hour long movies.

Scale wise you are best sticking with the voyagers of Ironhide and Ratchet, and get deluxe Battle Blade Bumblebee.
If you dont care about scale, then get leader Ironhide, HA BB and Jazz and...well Ratchet only has a voyager unfortunately so youre stuck with him.

What exactly did he fear? He was beat up and weak thats for sure, missing half your head and being made up of spare limbs from weaker transformers would do that to ya, but i didnt see him fear anything during any of the movies.
His partnership with the fallen was a bit odd, though.

Dude come on. In the first one he was kicking prime's ass. He seemed like a villian to fear. In the second one optimus prime is like some unstopbale juggernaut and take's on three decepticon's including megatron and he barly lays a hit on optimus except from the behind. I mean just becuase he got repaired how on earth does that make him weaker. it's quit sad that the hero is way more lethal then the villian and that was my only beef with these movie's.:slap

I have him but he is still boxed up with Optimurderer. I will probably attack him first since he is so much smaller and simpler but I won't get to it until at least Thursday.

Where did you get Bee from? I'd like to get him too. He's like 5" right?

I ordered BB with Optimus from Bigbadtoystore. Looks like he is still in stock for $54.99.

I can only go from pics and the package size but he looks much smaller than Optimus, which looks roughly accurate according to the official sizes. Maybe a little small, but he's also in a wide leg stance in the DMK pic.

Thanks, I remember seeing the scales size of the Transformers, but in the movies never thought that BB was that small. Nice to see both kits together.

That dmk really is so cool, so detailed.....so small. This would have been killer at 18 inches. Wonder if there is any chance of that.

Is the DMK actually metal inside or just plastic?

It's all plastic, I believe.

How much does a gundam cost of the same size of DMK Prime?

I don't know - I've always wanted to build a Gundam kit but I have no interest in Gundams. That's one of the reasons this appeals to me so much.

I have seen Gundam collectors state that these kits are priced comparably to similar size Gundam kits. I know they ain't cheap!

Yeah same here, I always wanted to build a wing zero custom but interest ain't high like Prime.

depends on the level of the kit. I'm guessing that DMK prime is roughly 10-12 inches tall. that puts him in the same size catagory as the Master grade and perfect grade kits. Masters are generaly in the 50$ range, and perfects are over 100$

Masters are generaly 10 to 12 inches, perfects are a little bigger. 14 ish on the TALL end.

Thanks, damn this Prime is pricey. But hear nothing but good things from owners.

And I finally scored my last 2 generations figures I was looking for at NEX
