ROTF Bludgeon with HeadRobots Blood:The Dark Warrior upgrades,

G1 inspired "Skeletor" face,

Remove the helmet, swivel the face 180 degrees and replace the helmet for,

IDW comic inspired face,

The new swords are cast in a much more rigid plastic than the originals, have excellent chrome on the blades and the green is a near perfect match for the main toy....overall another great release from HeadRobots.

The upgrades really do look awesome, but the heads just don't do it for me. They look too out of place, and the IDW one isn't as badass as the actual comic art.

and also. i have unicron. love him.

Now that's an awesome display dude!

And here is Perfect Effect's next figure! A deluxe Arcee(?), to be revealed near the end of the month at a Japanese convention. The altmode is a rather big surprise, but the figure itself looks great, from what I can see.

Great stuff there matey. Huge improvement . Are the IDW face eyes blue? I think I prefer that one too. It has a kind of "Punisher" vibe to it

A fair point but there's only so much can be done with sculpting something based on comic art so I expect compromises had to be made to keep the price down. I'm happy enough.

Perfect Effect Arcee looks nice but I think I'll still get the iGear one as it's more G1 in both modes.

In the IDW comic series, Arcee is a Transgendered Transformer.


sorta, anyways. she was captured by a pre-decpticon scientist Named Jihaxiss, who used her to introduce the concept of gender into cybertronian life. Before he did this, all cybertronians were gender neutral.

The torture he put her through to make this happen, and the infectious programming he put into her to cause the ideas of male and female to spread to all cybertonians and integrate with their core programming.. as if it had always been ther drove her kinda crazy. Hence why she's a psychopath in the IDW comics.

She murders and tortures decepticons and isn't afraid of anything. In order to find Jihaxiss and kills him.
