So far it's just the G1 tapes, but the way things are with 3rd parties I wouldn't rule out new molds either....I'd hope they were better than the Ravage that came with Hound though.

I just figure that if Soundwave's going to be made bigger, the tapes should too...

Holy moly Dubz that Sentinal is amazing :clap:clap

That really is nothing short of a masterpiece

If I had spare cash I'd definitely be putting a bid in

That said I might be in touch for a paint job when I'm back from my hols

Again awesome stuff well done :clap

iGear Wheelie sat on MP Grimlock's back surrounded by iGear Sharkticons should make a cool display!

Picked up a bit of news on Horror Monarch at TFW, iGear said at a recent convention that it's still planned but has been moved down their release schedule.

Maybe they've had trouble with the fragile nature of the MP design and have instead decided to develop their own?

Yeah, these are looking very cool.

Price will be a big factor, though. With any luck, these will be more along the lines of their minibot pricing.

If they're $15 each I'd like to get 5 or 6 to surround MP Grimlock....maybe even make a battle damaged one to look like it's been stomped on!

Grimlock is my favorite Transformer character but only because of his Masterpiece toy and how he's portrayed in some of the comics.

In the G1 cartoon the Dinobots were initially fearsome but were eventually turned into the same sort of "lovable oaf" type of characters that Bulkhead is in Animated.

As far as Wheelie goes most UK kids would only have seen him in the Movie at the time as I don't think series 3 & 4 were ever shown here so maybe the annoyance factor didn't kick in like it did in the USA.

Wheelie is like the Transformers equivalent of Jar Jar and it's not difficult to see evidence of both characters getting more than their share of flak on pretty much every fansite.

I don't think they are anywhere near being decent characters onscreen but I also think that a lot of the venom they seem to provoke in fans is pretty hilarious.

That is a bit extreme...Jar Jar ..well there is no equivalent..he ruined an entire movie.

I would like to see a Special Edition with Wheelie replaced by Mr. Hanky. Hidey Ho, Grimlock!

I vote for Towelie - he's kind of an homage to all stupid/annoying characters like that...

Little Anakin was worse than Jar-Jar, imo. :)

Did anyone every figure out what size they'd be?

I assume they're going to be fairly small, going from those pics on their website, but it looks like they're going with an entirely different design now.

Not sure, ideally they'll be Scout sized.

yes. i like the show. i like that it is darker than previous TF cartoons and that they have those throwaway Vehicons for the autobots to actually kill in the episodes. and i'm waiting patiently for the toy line to hit shelves. i'll definately be picking up most of the main characters. it'll be my springboard back into TF collecting.

The show reminds me of Beast Wars.

I'm pretty sure this has been talked about before but I was wondering everyone's thoughts on the Fansproject insecticons. I'm thinking about getting one(can't really get all 3) but am not sure which one I want. I was leaning towards their version of Shrapnel but may want their version of Bombshell instead. Any thoughts?

I have both and they're awesome. I'd say but the one you like most, if I were to buy one based on the two that are out now...I'd buy the NOT Shrapnel (Thundershred) over NOT Bombshell (Stormbomb). But Kickback was always my favorite as a kid and his updated counterpart Backfiery :)lol) looks pretty slick too. I hope that helps.

Yeah Shrapnel was always my favorite. I'm kinda not feeling their NOT kickback(funny way of putting it). What are some good retailers to pick these guys up?
