I still think $1200-1500 is WAY to damn much to be paying for ANYTHING from the Bayverse Transformers. I was good with my DMK (which is fully articulated) has rubber tires, and a one off paint job by myself.

I get that but I don't get why some are making it seem like its the first time something from the movies is crazy expensive when it's not. I'm not saying that I wasn't hoping for a much lesser price like someone said $700 I believe, but it doesn't strike me as inconceivable when SS prime statue was over $1000 too

Because they hate you, Khev. I'm sorry, but it's best that someone just come right out and say it.

I wonder why they chose Prime and Bumblebee instead of Prime and Megatron.

Have you ever heard about BEEsanity? :)
Because of Michael Bay Bumblebee will always be around if there's a thing related to Transformers. Hasbro is still producing a disturbing amount of Bumblebees all across the country.

I would really like a large DOTM Megatron. Not $1500 large but maybe like $40 large.

I wish Hasbro made a leader class Megatron, this is what most people want. But too sad it didn't happen.

Not as much as Sideshow hates you!

I could happily go the rest of my life without seeing another Movie Prime or Bumblebee.

Too bad that another piece of excrement thinly disguised as a TF movie is on the way as that'll mean another couple of hundred new versions.

There's good news though as the apparent price for Fans Toys Soundwave with Laserbeak is going to be in the region of $115....damn good for a Masterpiece scale toy if you ask me.

A customiser at TFW2005 ( anemis ) has also hinted that he's been approached by a 3rd party company about possibly producing his Skyfire which is based on the G1 cartoon and Dreamwave art.

If that happens and the same scale is kept it will likely cost a LOT but it would be a thing of beauty.

LOL. You and me both mate.

Great News on "Not Soundwave", although it'll probably translate to £115 through a UK dealer unless we can somehow order direct.

Regardless I will be getting him :)

Can't wait for FT Soundwave. :)

I picked up the Bumblebee Vs. Starscream set this weekend. I was very surprised to see it at retail (don't get excited - I'm in Canada). They only had two though, so I don't know if this will be easy to get or anything... Anyway, I wasn't keen on paying TRU prices for Silas and friends but it was at Walmart, which was much easier on the wallet. Got all the humans so far:

I'm liking the TFs a lot more than I thought, too, especially since I didn't really think I needed another Starscream and Bumblebee. The face on Bumblebee is particularly nice - I think the lighter silver evokes the character quite a bit more.

Anyway, I put up some more comparison shots on my blog with a little review: https://collecting-toys.blogspot.ca/

I also picked up the other set at Walmart if anyone's interested - only problem is that one corner of the box was a bit crushed and the MECH soldier has a bit of a paint rub on his goggles...

The live action movie designs have even stamped their influence on the latest cartoon which is why I'm avoiding it like the plague....come to think of it a plague would be a good description of the amount of Deluxe Bumblebees that accompany every movie :lol

Even if we have to pay £115 that Soundwave will be great value providing the QC is decent....as Fans Toys are newcomers I think I'm going to play it safe and wait for the early reviews before pulling the trigger.

You can include me in your list as well...so fed up of Bayformers it's not even funny.

Anyway I don't see why we wont be able to order direct.

Robot Kingdom carry Fans Project & I'm pretty sure they ship to the UK so we can order from them direct when not Soundwave finally gets released

How much are these sets D? I want two more of those Starscreams! :naughty

What's wrong with Prince Adam laughing at a bunch of people being squirted with water or whatever?

-_-

^ sent you a PM.

Good TF day. Got my replacement part for Warbot from Automaton Toys - seems like a good store to do business with. :)

Also got some BW figures in the mail, including one of my favs, Inferno! The original BW figures aren't as good as today's stuff, but he holds up pretty well. I would LOVE for a third party to do some upgrade kits - he could use a new headsculpt and his proper gun, but still, really cool figure.

Got Telemocha Primal and the Takara Silverbolt too, but I didn't get a chance to open them yet.
