Whilst shopping yesterday I was suprised to discover that Prime toys had actually reached the UK, I shook my head at the swarm of Bumblebees on the pegs and moved swiftly on :)

Once my iGear Seekers and remaining TFC Constructicons arrive I'm not sure what I'll get next, I think it'll be a matter of waiting for Fans Toys Soundwave and MasterMind Collectibles Sixshot as of the stuff that's currently available, I've got more or less everything I want.

^ sent you a PM.

Good TF day. Got my replacement part for Warbot from Automaton Toys - seems like a good store to do business with. :)

Also got some BW figures in the mail, including one of my favs, Inferno! The original BW figures aren't as good as today's stuff, but he holds up pretty well. I would LOVE for a third party to do some upgrade kits - he could use a new headsculpt and his proper gun, but still, really cool figure.

Got Telemocha Primal and the Takara Silverbolt too, but I didn't get a chance to open them yet.

Nice pick up on the Inferno.

I'm actually just in the process of selling my Beast Wars collection as I just never display them & the money will be better spent feeding my other plastic crack habits (I'm looking at you Hot Toys!! :lol:lol )

I did love the show & the figures were really impressive for when they came out with the details & transformations...really surprised me just how complex they were having come from Gen 1 to these was a huge leap.

Do you already have him? He's actually a pretty nice figure.

Heh, I'm doing the opposite. Kind of sad to see some of it go... Maybe I'll keep a couple at least.

All I've got so far is the Telemocha deluxe Primal - which is a really, really nice figure actually, even though the transformation is only slightly more complex than a Gobot - and the Takara versions of Inferno and Silverbolt. I'm slowly trying to build up a small collection of the cast from the TV show. I hink I know which ones to get, but unfortunately there doesn't really seem to be any kind of real option for Blackarachnia... :(

Very true. I never gave these the chance back in the day (well, I was in high school at the time, so not really collecting in earnest anyway), but I guess I missed out. While the details are a bit soft here and there compared to current releases, they still hold up really well.

I'd still love to see some third party upgrades, but if it never happened, I wouldn't mind so much. They're still really nice figures for the most part.

Lol with the upcoming Avengers stuff I need the pennies to fund them ;)

Well let me know if there is anything in particular you are looking for...I may have them :)

I have a few on Ebay at the mo...

But alot more stored away :)

I'd much rather help someone out like yourself instead of Ebay randoms

It was actually Beast Wars that got me back into TF collecting back in the late 90's
I'd been away for a long time then started seeing these, watched the cartoon & started buying up all I can find.
Luckily enough I was starting to collect by the time the interest in the cartoon was waining so got some of mine for silly prices :)

Yeah compared to the recent releases they aren't as good but you can see the way they have progressed thanks to cutting their teeth on these & then the R.I.D figures.

The Beast Wars figures are way more important to the current line than people give them credit for.

Anyway glad you are happy with them & looking forward to seeing what else you get :)

That's easily the best use of that mold yet.

I think the paint apps are great on United Tracks & Wheeljack is OK in both Hasbro & Takara incarnations but they would have been so much better had the alt mode not been so generic looking.

The Lancia Stratos & Corvette Stingray are very different in appearance so it was a shame that both characters didn't get their own mold and I'm hoping a 3rd party does better versions somewhere down the line.

Although the G1 Battlechargers were different cars they were very similar and the robot modes were more or less the same so using the same mold makes a lot more sense.

I absolutely love that Runabout.
He looks amazing...fantastic in both modes.

I may actually have to buy him.
Sorry to be a bit thick but I'm really out of the loop with current Has/Tak figures that arent Masterpiece but what line is he from??

Thanks & congrats on the purcahse & fantastic pics

It's one of the Collector Club Exclusives....so it won't be cheap for us Brits :lol

Finally got around to taking some pics of Runabout, easily one of my favorites.

TFCC Runabout deluxe class figure alt mode by Deak Starkiller, on Flickr

That actually looks like a Corvette. Nice. One of the reasons why I do not like the "newer" Transformer stuff was the fact that the cars were not licensed. That is why I liked the Binardtech and G1 lines.
That, and the fact that there are too many different lines with sizes...universe, classics, voyager size, leader class size... too confusing:gah:

Finally got around to adding the clear coat, added details and the light grey paint to the lower cheek panels. Enjoy

Very cool.

I wasn't really a fan of the TFCC stuff until I saw this pic. I must say, I'm tempted to get one now...

Hey if it makes you feel better I've had fraud twice on two accounts because of FunPub (the Transformers Collector's Club). :dunno

What were the names of those two racing Autobot Impalas with all the mounted guns in Dark of the Moon? One was red and one was green IIRC.

Leadfoot is the red one and Roadbuster is the green one, I think. They made some pretty cool Human Alliance figures of both.
