I have no doubt MP-10 will be readily available.

We're just too close to Christmas, and he's only really just been hitting stores... all the TF diehards are going nuts for him, but once they (we?) all have one, they'll start piling up at TRU, then go on sale, maybe clearance prices (though I wouldn't get my hopes up for $12 clearance prices) after the Holidays are over.

Me? I might pick one up on sale. I'm in no real rush to get one, though. I'm quite happy with Faith Leader.

I did like the first Hasbro MP Prime and still own it. Never had any QC problems, and if you can get third party stacks for him, he looks perfect! He doesn't work with anything else scale-wise, but I might display him with some smaller figures... Thundercats, MOTUC, TMNT, that sort of thing. That'd make a pretty nice display, I think.

Aside from pricing you guys across the pond do have the benefit of more retail outlets who likely get more stock than the average TRU here gets so there's more chance for you to get stuff without QC issues.

My local TRU likely had the one pallet with all the dodgy ones and that was it as unless it's a Deluxe Bumblebee "restock" is a dirty word to Hasbro UK.

It's not just Transformers that Hasbro don't distribute properly outside of the USA. I recently started collecting the Marvel Universe line and went to my nearest TRU to see what they had and found,

Namor x1
Classic Iron Man in a torn open package x1

No comic packs, 3-packs or the other boxsets although there was a shelf full of Iron Man 2 figures on clearance....and this was a couple of weeks ago!

Before I got this guy, I was also completely satisfied with Faith Leader, but at least in my case, I was really won over by MP-10 when I got him in-hand. He is much more poseable, feels much sturdier, has some great display options, and really has a pretty great design that I have warmed up to the more I've looked at him.

Finally got both the TRU Masterpiece Thundercracker (yesterday) & Optimus Prime today (I was 1 of 2 that got one) at Toys R Us. However, I noticed imperfection paint on the tralier Autobot logo after I bought it. Need to get another one now. Pretty good deal for Prime though at $100 given the fact the MP10 is $300. Paid $50 for Thundercracker when TRU had 30% off. I also picked up the year of the dragon Prime too for $70.

picked up thundercracker today at tru. they had 8 on the shelves. really dig him and he looks great next to starscream and skywarp. the face sculpt is awesome.

i never picked up faith leader but i am very glad i picked up the tru prime. he is my first mp prime out of any of them so far and since i never picked up the others i am kind of wowed by him. i kind of want to track down 01 or 04. the pick ups this week have definitely sparked the transformer bug (again).

My Igear Hench turned up today and I've got to say he is a great figure. He is a little difficult to balance, but still the best Gen 1 Brawl to date. Igear are really knocking it out of the park right now and I eagerly await their version of Gears.

Hench scales really well against the two "Specialists" and now I want them to redo Ranger. The existing figure works well with classics but is far to small with these guys. I can't wait to see how MP Sidey scales against them!!!

Mine hasn't arrived yet but I'm expecting it this week, he looks great!

Hopefully Gears will be one of the next up for pre-order and that the rest of the series 1 Minibots are still to be announced.

Bumblebee & Cliffjumper in this scale would be much better than the larger designs we've seen for PP04 as the alt modes could retain the Penny Racer proportions of their G1 counterparts and Windcharger is also a must along with a bigger Huffer.

I've got all the Hercules guys now, all 3 original MP seekers, and will have Soundwave and the tapes. . .now, I'm getting more and more interested in Hegemon/Megatron. I don't think he is a perfect Megatron, but a pretty dang good one. And since no one else has stood up to the plate, he's the only game in town right now.

Anyone else here have him? If so, what are your thoughts?

I know I'm being impatient but I think I scored a MP TRU Prime from a TFW2005 member for $130 shipped. I have a feeling when he goes back in stock at toysrus.com that there will be no free shipping anymore or my local TRU will not be selling it for $99.99.

I don't think he is a perfect Megatron, but a pretty dang good one. And since no one else has stood up to the plate, he's the only game in town right now.

I don't have him but his robot mode looks to be the best G1 Megatron by a significant margin.

The only criticism I have is that he's too small to go with Faith Leader.

I'll be intrested to see if the second Masterpiece Megatron will take any cues from Hegemon.

Yeah, I was looking for scale comparisons, and he looks good with the Hercules guys and seekers IMO, but he really should be the same size as some version of Prime I have. I don't have or care for the Classics version, so not being Faith Leader or MP-10 scaled might be a deal breaker.

That was the only thing that stopped me from getting it. I don't mind if Megatron is a bit taller than Prime, but not the other way round.
