Cliffjumper is definitely the nicer looking of the two in robot mode but both alt modes are great and if the Bumblebee headsculpt gets improved by the time it's released several months from now then I don't think there'll be much to choose between the two.

When Brawn's proto was first shown it got blasted on sites like TFW for missing a point of articulation on the arms and iGear took the criticism on board and changed it so they may do likewise for Bumblebee's head.

I hope they do re-work Bee a bit would prefer him to look a little better.

I have a scary feeling that iGear will do something similar to what they have done with Gears & Beachcomber...sell them in 2 packs one with Wheelie & the other with Powerglide so you can't avoid having them all :gah:

Oh well we have a long wait till they arrive so I'll keep all speculating to a minimum :)

That's a good point.

Unfortunately, the headsculpt suffered a bit in the process, somehow. Still okay, though. :)

If you only want individual ones there's at least one dealer at TFW ( SidBeckett ) that does them seperately for £31 shipped each.

I only want Gears and possibly Swerve from the next lot so that's the route I'll be going.

DPrime,
Yeah, the headsculpt lost something but at least the thing with the articulation showed they're willing to change stuff.

The designer of all the Mini Warriors has apparently said on Twitter that he presented iGear with several different renders for Bumblebee's face and they picked that one.

So they were either all terrible or iGear have bad taste :dunno

I'm curious to see the other designs. They should make it a "fan choice" poll or something.

Honestly, from what I can tell, the feedback on Facebook is unanimously negative. Hopefully they rework it.

Or wait until they hit stateside.

I can't imagine paying import prices for such a thing!

BBTS will the hasbro version up for preorder soon. I think they already have the Takara one up.

I just read an intresting post at TFW.

Venksta, a guy with links to several 3rd party companies has just said that he knows of another G1 style Bumblebee & Cliffjumper that are being made.

He didn't specify whether they're based on the G1 toys, animation models or comic art, but he has apparently seen prototypes.

So if iGear don't fix Bumblebee's face and add a proper crotch to the mold, there may be another decent option.

Good, they need some competition/kick in the a. :)

When will we see sound wave at toys r us?

I remember hearing sometime in August, maybe?

I really cannot talk about how much I love this figure.

I could've sworn there were WIP pics of another G1 BB for some time now. I think it was in the Artfeather BB thread there.

The only one I can think of is iGear's larger scale Bumblebee and Cliffjumper mold that was intended to be released as PP04.

The more realistic proportions used on that mold meant it didn't capture the G1 aesthetic at all well and it appeared as if it would fit better with BT/Alternators as opposed to Masterpieces.

Nothing new related to that has been heard of for a hell of a long time now and with the Mini Warriors announcement it's likely PP04 has been scrapped.

My hope is that Fans Toys are making these other ones as they've already proven they can get the G1 aesthetic down well.

found it. not a lot of info though.

And lastly, anybody know of any customizers that can turn an Artfeather BB into the second one? I know the radicons are good but any specific ones?
