Grimlock looks fantastic, and I actually love all of the animated designs I've seen. I saw my first episode of the show yesterday and thought it was pretty good, too. Of course you have to sort of keep an open mind with this kind of thing.

Can I just say that I can't wait for this bad ass!? :rock

I know there was already a pic posted of him somewhere, but not in Dino form.

Animated Grimlock :rock

Are the makers of the new TF series the same hacks that made the Star Wars Clone Wars cartoons as it would explain the "looks like it was drawn by a 6 year old" art style that translates into such ugly looking toys.
The sooner Classics 2.0/Universe gets released the better as there will then be some proper looking TF's on shelves as opposed to all the movie and Animated garbage.

Well obviously this is a matter of opinion, but I think the animated toys look a lot better than the classics, and I have all of them up until now.

I hardly think that it's fair to classify the Animated or movie line as garbage.

While I too can't wait for the new Universe stuff, how can you say that these look any worse than/garbage like:

???

They're both friggin awesome.

I overally don't really care for the classics figures... they just aren't as nice as I would like them to be. Great for toys, not something I'd want to collect. But the Animated style is really growing on me, guess I'll need to give the show a watch and see what its all about.

I agree King, that image has a bit of badass to it that I hadn't really seen before in this version of Prime. And the Grimlock is pretty cool looking as well, the 2 would make a nice little set-up.
