They are making all of the dinobots too.
Just to clairify, they are only making figures of the 3 Dino in the series: Grimlock, Swoop, and Snarl. The Triceratops is now called Snarl instead of Slag cause somehow Hasbro lost the TM for Slag.
The worst thing is that Grimlock will be a Voyager Class figure while Swoop and "Snarl" will be deluxe figures!! Hasbro WTF???
This Prime looks great.
For the record, the designers of the new Animated series were forced by Hasbro to add the stupid mouth to Prime so that he would look more like the movie version Prime.
This figure though is going to be the bomb!!

Doesn't really matter with the Animated line. I mean, Lockdown's a Deluxe, and he's the tallest figure by far!

Nope; Hasbro has been wanting to give Prime a mouth to make him as expressive as Optimus Primal was. It's why the initial Energon Primes had those craptastic mouths, and why Cybertron Prime has a gimmick similiar to that of Animated Prime (mouthplate can move up and down).
I have to say though, this is the first Prime a mouth has worked with, if only cause he's a total n00b commander on the show. He's more Orion Pax then Prime so far, and the mouth kinda gets that across.

They come out in June (some weird marketing screwup by Hasbro), and the sizes seem to vary. Though it's safe to say that most of the Deluxes are in the 4-5inch range, and most of the Voyagers in the 5-6inch range.

I've seen some video reviews of the animated figures from people on the web, and I see some up for sale on ebay. Where are they getting these figures? Have they been released in other countries?
He is the reason for the demise of the all-time great Robot Leader Optimus Prime.

I think the pics I posted above are from a guy close with Hasbro, and does reviews, so he gets them legit. As for ebay, i'm not sure.
BBTS has them all on pre-order, so I don't mind waiting til June for these.
Eh, I disagree. Prime hesitated. He was caught off guard by the sudden plea for mercy. Megatron would have taken him out anyway. Hot Rod was in the wrong place at the wrong time, true, but I still think Prime's downfall was his hesitation. The dude just wasn't cold blooded (oiled? ).
Don't get me wrong, I cried my eyes out for days back when I was 8. But I never bore this hate for Hot Rod that you all seem to have. In fact, he's one of my favorite characters to this day. And Rodimus was barely given a fair chance in season 3 to grow, since Hasbro got tired of all the threats from parents and brought Optimus back. I thought it was cool to have a more "human"/imperfect leader, which allowed for more depth of character. Then again, I think the original Transformers movie is THE pinnacle of the franchise to date, so most would probably think I'm crazy.
Oh, and Transformers Animated is FULL of win. If you disagree with that, you didn't watch last week's episode. I initially hated the design aesthetic, too, but the characters and story are the strongest yet in ANY TF show (except for the G1 movie).

Let's just say that Hasbro has a REAL security issue with their Chinese factories...
You know, I tried. I really did. But BW truly did nothing for me. Even the episodes that fans swear by to this day still came off as goofy to me. No matter how epic the writers tried to make the story, or how many G1 references they'd throw in, I just couldn't get past the absurdity of the whole organic animalformers thing. Of course, episodes like the one where Rhinox saves the day by farting surely didn't help sway me, either...
Honestly, not a single show since G1 had caught my interest until Animated.

Seriously, what's your hard on for disliking the Animated series? BW sucked in my opinion. Decent story line, but other than that, no thanks. Have you even watched the Animated series yet?

I liked BW for it's storylines, excellent dialogue, wonderfull humor and good characters. However, I do respect it whenever others don't like it. I just find it a pity that they didn't enjoy it, is all.
Now as for your other question:
Ooooh, toughy. I dislike the animation style, the human villians are wacky to say the least, they mishandled Soundwave (starts out as a toyrobot who later comes to life and tries to create a robot rebellion, only to be defeated with a single punchReinhardt said:
It really depends on if you like cartoons that can become childish fun at times. There are some very good eps ("Thrill of the Hunt" is generally seen as one of the best TF episodes ever, up there with Beast War's "Code of Hero"), but some complete crap ones too.
