MP10's trailer would likely be too big.

I've been close-ish to buying MP10 twice now ( I had the cash ) recently but couldn't pull the trigger so I think I may just get some more risers and display my Autobot cars in both modes on those instead.

The ideal solution for me would be if iGear had released a trailer for Faith Leader but they didn't and are unlikely to go back to that project because of all the flak they got for "borrowing" the MP01 design in the first place so I may even sell FL to fund a second Tiger Track.

Although I'd love to see Sunstreaker or Mirage announced next I'm actually hoping MP20 is Galvatron or Ultra Magnus as that'll give me a bit of a break from the line and time to save a bit for the next round of Autobot cars.

I did think that would be the case.
Looks like I'll be waiting till TRU drop the price for the currently shelf warming Primes & pick another one up then.

Think I might try to trade out my Faith Leader as well now as he seems a waste to sit in the box.

I can't decide if I want to wait for the Hasbro Soundwave or the Takara second run now.

Want to thank everyone for all the info. Ended up paying $114.65 for the Soundwave MP. So glad I didn't bite on the E-Bay scalpers on this one.

The yellow eyes actually look pretty cool. I've held off on the Takara tapes and can't wait for this to come out. I was gonna keep this one in tape mode anyway.

TRU MP Soundwave shouldn't be too hard to get...I saw 25 cases on the top stock of MP Prime last year (50 pieces total).Took about two weeks to sell out during the Holiday

I'm actually looking forward to those Animated 3rd party toys most of all (at least when it comes to 3rd party toys, that is)... I really should check the thread on TFW to see what's up with that. I only ever read the MP spec thread with any regularity...

Outside of Masterpieces a set of accurate looking Wreckers from that story is the other display I'm aiming for as with the exception of Generations Springer Hasbro's attempts at the characters aren't really getting the job done

Animated's not something I'm a huge fan of but I'm intrested to see what a 3rd party can do with that design style.

I've set a precedent for myself by deciding to get extras of all the MP cars and increasing my display space will be something I have to address sooner, rather than later but that shouldn't be a problem.

I think the packaging is better than Hasbro's usual efforts but I wonder what Soundwave will actually look like in hand as those images are inevitably Photoshopped.

I'm also suprised that Hasbro's Buzzsaw isn't gold, like the G1 toy.

The new packaging seems more collector friendly, which is a good thing. Interesting to see Takara making a 2nd run for Soundwave. I can't see many people picking that up for $160 (Canadian) versus $120 with the extra tapes.

But maybe we'll see another run for both Sideswipe and Red Alert?

Getting the Habro version is probably going to be more of a crapshoot if the situation with MP optimus prime is any indication. Getting your hands on a Takara version is the closest you can get to a sure thing for this figure
