Apparently, news came out today that robot kingdom is going to stock some of the TT rerelease this fall

Robotkingdom put up a preorder for MP-13 Soundwave in September for only $135!!!! That is a FRICKIN BARGAIN!!!! For those that missed out the first time, I wouldnt miss this second chance!!

Couple this news with the MP-19 reveal, this has been a great day for Masterpieces!!!

Looks like they went easy on the decals. Works for me!

I like that they went with the cartoon head/launchers. Looks a bit wonky compared to Prowl and Bluestreak but accuracy trumps that for me. Besides, gives him character!

I just pre-ordered Smokescreen from Anime Export although they only have a limit of 1 per order which sucks as I wanted two.

I would have preferred that all the sponsors logos weren't present but it looks as if some from the real car are missing so rights issues may actually have helped there as otherwise it would have looked too cluttered and I wouldn't have been intrested

The retooling consists of a new head, missile launchers and shoulders as well as the body kit for the car mode and looks fantastic!

1.) The figure is no longer in mint condition if the distributor open up all the figures and modifies them. These figures are expensive as is; it's not unreasonable to recieve a MIB figure if that's what you pay for.

2.) Based on my browsing on other forums, some were "permanently" affixed to the gun barrel

I bought one that had the orange plug glued in, but I still was able to take it out without too much hassle.

Thanks for the heads up on those, I'll add them to my list of sites to keep an eye on as Hobby Search is the other one I'm presently watching.

Hopefully we'll get a proper reveal of the Smokescreen prototype with his fellow Nissans ( I nearly said brothers but the characters never were....only Sideswipe and Sunstreaker had that distinction ) at the Tokyo Toy Show at the end of the week.

Some kind of news on MP20 would also be nice even if it's just a pic of a grey prototype or something.

That's an amazing bargain on MP13, even with shipping that'll work out almost half the price I paid for mine.

It's almost tempting to get another but I can't get started on doubles of anything but the cars as I have to draw the line somewhere, at least until I win the EuroMillions

With next year being the 30th Anniversary I could see Takara doing another run especially if Megatron V2 happens.

He's the 2nd or 3rd most popular Decepticon so it'd be likely to sell out especially with the lack of a US version with the new mold due to Hasbro's retarded decision making.

Yes.

Reliable sources have said that he's been in development for some time and may even be MP20.

MP20 is likely to be one of the following,

Galvatron
Megatron V2
Ultra Magnus
Mirage ( outside chance )

The Tokyo Toy Show is at the end of the week and it's likely that some news on MP20 will emerge during Takara's presentation.

I reckon the variants for both Galvatron and Megatron V2 will be "reformatting" versions that're based on the scene in the '86 Movie.

With a mix of clear purple plastic and regular parts they would look pretty cool.

MP Ultra Magnus would be a dream come true. If its in development, I can't wait to see how they would update the armour parts around the MP10 base model. Galvatron will be pretty swish too
