You know I have been waiting for years to see how the Hulk measures up to the rest of the Marvel Universe. WWH is hopefully that opportunity. Personally I hope that he whips up on the X-men. It seemed like every Marvel crossover before CIvil War was a mutant themed one.

I read that Peter David bowed out of his second run on the Incredible Hulk because he wanted to avoid the headache of having to deal with changes to the title due to the House of M croosover. Onslaught anyone?

back on topic---what issue are they up to in ww hulk now? i have the first one but i havent been to my lcs in a few. btw issue one was sweet but im not diggin the art at all. when hulk holds black bolt up in the hologram black bolt looked like he was wearing a garbage bag.

What date is this released? My comic book store has an account for me (Avengers--both titles, Hulk, World War Hulk) but it's over an hour away so I'll have to plan trips accordingly.

OK, I'm interested. I'm gonna get the regular WWH line, but are any other of the side stories (X-Men, Ghostrider etc) really worth it to a casual fan? X-Men seems so, what about the others?

For now I would suggest the Big three (WWH main title,Incredible Hulk & WWH X-men) and maybe WWH: Frontline (serie is too young too say if its a major tie -in).

The Sentry's abilities derive from an experimental serum that creates a phase-shift in his molecules, causing each atom to step an instant ahead of the current time line. The serum induces a photosynthetic reaction, resulting in a hyper state of consciousness. Though most of his powers and their limits are still unknown, examples he has demonstrated so far are super-strength, super-speed, invulnerability, and flight.

The Sentry can also project energy fields, control light, and has vast psychic and mental forces mainly used for holding his physical powers together, though it is not yet known whether the Sentry can use them the way Professor X and other psychics use theirs; the only psychic abilities he had displayed so far is implanting his memories inside Paul Jenkins' mind and calming the fury of the Hulk.
