I found a diff angle on Jorge's Giga sculpture :

He can pack in the detail very well it seems...( french accent ) I love it ! :lol

I found a neat idea for those who may want see the Allo VS Camara story in action, just view Dinosaur Planet episode Alpha's Egg..right at the end...the fight between Alpha ( Saltasaurus ) and Dragonfly ( Aucasaurus ) and his mate was pretty close.

Poor Dragonfly. I always thought that an ignominious way for him to go out. :lol

Jorge's sculpt's are of spectacular quality. Knowing that he sculpted this particular dio makes me even more excited still to see what this looks like... on Thursday night! Thankfully the time has gone quickly since the preview.

I know..poor Dragonfly and his short attention span..and Alpha prob won't live long either..with a hunk tore out of her shoulder and that limp foot. Dragonfly did mate with the female though..while Alpha's eggs drowned..so he sort of " won " I guess.

Time has passed rather quickly..it was just about 2 weeks ago I got the Styrac and here I am drooling waiting for a new piece.. :lol

After the full Dio is shown Thursday..then we have to wait for a release date on it ..and we still need one for the Deino. It's tough being a collector. :google

Is this "Dinosaur Planet" accessible online somewhere?

There are some on Youtube, I tried finding the part I meant there, but I think it's the one episode not put up all the way to the end.

:lol I'm the same way. It seems like the Strayc just arrive, and I'm already giddy about clearing shelf space for the Deinosuchus. This sort of excitement is the breeding ground for avarice, which I would contend isn't necessarily a bad thing...

:D

I'm sure a Giga is a possibility...and Jorge did pull that one off very well...almost makes me want to buy and build it..but as I said I'm sure we will get one at some point. :D

I'm also a Dragon collector...so Avarice, Greed, not foreign to me at all.. :lol

Today i was in a exhibit and saw lifesize skelletons of Giganotosaurus, Argentinosaurus and Carnotaurus. I am still in awe!
Some years ago i saw a T-Rex, but compared to that Giganotosaurus it was nearly small...

Would love to see some of those in the sideshow line.

Here is the Argentinosaurus that i saw:

I believe this exhibit is in Georgia. Or it was, a few years ago. Seems like that's the same building, too...I saw it and was amazed.

Im not sure if what your talking about is the same thing as this:

https://www.giantdinosaurs.com/traveling.htm

Their isnt much info on where this is located on the site, other than its a "traveling" exhibit. Sorry if this was already posted or answered in this thread, I didnt feel like reading through 150+ posts. I would love to see this in person myself it looks amazing. Anyone have any more info on where this can be seen? According to the site it will not be ready until sometime in 2010.

Nooooo...I couldn't afford it... :(

...and I was hoping they would release a full maquette of the Dragon as well... :/

As was I. Miles Teves had an awesome maquette of the Bull Dragon which he was hoping SS would pick up. Unfortunately it didn't happen, but I would certainly have bought one.

If I'm lucky it might come through here..our one local prehistoric museum is where I saw SUE at...but the exhibit looks HUGE..I'm not sure the museum is large enough to house it at all.

We do have another museum that is moving closer to home and they have a permenant Rex on display..called..the Fort Peck Rex I think ? The museum was called the Highlands Prehistoric Museum in Cookville..but now it's moving to Kingsport..only about 30 minutes or so away. :D

Shame he didn't try elsewhere to market it..even as a model I would have bought one..it was a super cool and well thought out design...def one of best CG Dragons.

Found a neat pic showing again, Jorge Blanco's GIga and a few other South American paleo-art pieces :
