I think its just the way that he died thats got the media going wild.

Oh! the irony!!!
The haters keeping this MJ thread alive!!! :lol :lol

It will soon be over ... and you will change your sig and avatar. Maybe in a few weeks or a month or two.

I remember when they annouced the Hot Toys fig and many people stated that Mr. Jackson is a **** and that little kids might be playing with this "Toy" and so on . I am a little curious if some of these people jumped on that Hype wagon when Mr. Jackson died. Fact is that the Fig climbed up prize wise.

Sorry I can´t take these Hype wagon jumpers serious. Mr. Jackson was a great artist and I feel sorry that he died. Now please get over it. Please don´t pump to much Mr. Jackson in this Board, since this Board is supposed to be about collectibles and not dead celebrities. Recently there are a lot threads regarding dead celebrities and wanna be celebrities.

Its like when the old folks get a newspaper and the first thing they do is to check the obituaries. I don´t get it ...

Nowadays it is all about the war. The War of Xbox vs. Ps3, the War about Fanboys vs. Haters, the War about Medicom vs. Hot Toys and so on ... (nonsense since they all clould coexist)

Some people are so avid for these topics. I wish they were dedicated to other more relevant topics. The world is full of it ...

That's why this is in the "Other Discussion" section of the board...
If you're not interested... don't read it...

Just got this in my e-mail:

Thank you for your registration.

Sorry, we regret to inform you that your registration to attend the Public Memorial Service for Michael Jackson was not selected.

Hundreds of thousands registered, but only a few can be in attendance.

Ohhh well. It would have benn cool just to say I was there.

Thank you for the hint !

I am not reading it, but every time I click "New Posts", there is something about Mr. Jackson or his ghost on page one. But i don´t read them. I don´t need to, because I already know whats in them.

I replied to this thread. And this thread is about people who think it is too much Mr. Jackson. This should be okay ... Isn´t it ?

But like I said before ... It will soon be over !

It is pretty shocking when you really think how much of your life has had some Michael Jackson influence. Whether it be through music or media coverage or reading articles or hearing jokes there hasn't been a part of my life where some sort of Michael Jackson interaction via media hasn't occured which equals 28 years of "interaction". I would say its warranted since I'm on the younger end of the spectrum.

There is a world of difference between influence and interaction.:monkey1

Truth be told, people who didn't get a ticket will show up and some will show just to cause a ruckus. And if you're a ticket scalper, i'd stay far away from the Staples Center as possible.
