I don't think it has anything to do with that. 99.9% of the people out there are never going to be on TV or will get any attention for their "mourning." I think its just that people do connect with certin celebrites and enjoy their work and when they die its like a little piece of them dies too. I won't make fun of anyone who mourns in any way becasue everyone feels things differently. If they want to go someplace with thousands of other fans and listen to the songs and dance and cry thats fine by me.. everyone expresses their feelings differently and as long as they are not doing anything stupid let them have their time.

This is very true but not Michaels fault, not any celebrities fault either. I get absolutely disgusted when I see a Jackson video with young girls practically beating themselves, crying at his sight. Sickening. Disturbing.

MJ was an icon that influenced millions. His loss was sudden and his fans want closure. So let them have it. If you didn't like him, then that's fine. But don't insult others for caring about his death. Move on. The news frenzy will be over by next week. Think of it as a break and watch something else. As a matter of fact, I am a fan. Not a hardcore fan but I had some of his songs on my ipod before he died. I even remember getting teased by a girl for having one of his CDs in my collection years ago.

But he wasnt the second coming of JC like everyone says. But then again, I dont feel like that about anyone anymore. But go ahead and keep creating threads, lol, I dont care. Just teasing ya

But I do absolutely respect the man for what he did for music. And I do feel bad he lead a tragic life. I dont think he was ever really happy which is sad because I do think he was a good guy and very misunderstood...
