Didn't see a thread so I went ahead and made one.

I attended a free screening of this film and liked it very much. Just like the novels, I enjoyed this movie more than The Da Vinci Code.

I liked Da Vinci Code a lot and Hanks is one of my favorite actors, can't wait to see this.

I really liked the books, and (before the films were made) was thinking "damn, this would make a GREAT film" ....then the DaVinci movie came out, which I loved... the music and visuals, and overall tone was wonderful.... so when I heard they were making this one I was really looking forward to it.

I'll probably go see it this weekend

I actually read this book on the way home from vacation one year and had no idea it was the prequel to the Davinci Code.

I loved the book. Much more than the Davinci Code movie. So I am hoping this movie rocks!

It appears to be getting mixed reviews. I never read the book, but the main complaint seems to be that too much of the story had to be excised to fit the movie's running length. I think I'll wait for more feedback before deciding to see it in the theatre or not.

I preferred this book to Davinci so hopefully the same will hold true for the movies. Doesn't look good at Rottentomatoes, though.

I enjoyed it. But it took out my two favorite parts in the novel...

But it improved on a LOT of things. IMO it was better then the book.

Yup, it's a prequel and it doesnt matter if she hasnt seen Da Vinci Code (although she should ).

And i saw it today and thought it was really good. I liked it a bit more then the first one.

I noticed that but i've only heard that it was a prequel so i was a little confused at that. Still an awesome movie
