The chin paint is faint on mine, but noticeable. I didnt give it 2nd thought when I saw mine.

The chin scar paint on mine is very faint, I really had to look for it in full light.

It does seem that the extra face scars are a bit darker on some figures... not really to evident on mine. At least not to the naked eye.

After having the figure for a few days I can say he's really grown on me a lot. Definitely one of the better figures in the series.

Yeah mine too. I can live with faint, but they are deep, and blood red. I already contacted SSC for a replacement.

Just my luck, it seems every other SSC product I receive needs to go back for some type of QC issue, and I'm not even that picky.

I just got mine today. The scars are red, so I'm not sure how much of a difference your replacement will look.

Anyone else notice the boots are softer? But they are still too stiff for ankle articulation.

Overall, I think the sculpt with factory paint has about the same proximity of a Ford likeness as Mat Fall's ESB Han.

Yes, the redid it for the 2004 DVDs, and the WTF moment was that the ANH 2004 Jabba still looked crappy compared to the nice job they did in TPM. The colors were way off, even his shape was off, I figured they'd just drop in the same CGI model from TPM into ANH but they did something to him and it didn't work out.

Funny you mention the color, they can't seem to nail the look of Jedi Jabba.

Thanks!! I wasn't sure about them when I was shooting but they came out alright. I think will do that cause it does look a little odd I've noticed on other pics and on my figure.

Its much better in person than pics can show.

Okay, here's two of mine.
It's a 9.0 out of 10 for me. The one thing really holding him back is the Buck body.

Don't shoot me for saying this, but I think the Buck body may work for this version of Solo. Harrison Ford was pretty lean in ANH. More accurate proportions aside, I'm certainly not a fan of the Buck body and can't wait to see it retired for good.

And my ANH Solo arrives tomorrow! Woo!

I don't know if it's intentional or not but they're so light, at least mine are, that they're barely noticable if they were on purpose.

JustinLuck's Han looks like he was in a bar fight. My Han doesn't have marks anywhere near as visible as those.

Good shots, both inside and out. On this outside one, I like how it really shows off the quality of materials used in the outfit. Did he come out of the box like that or was some futzing involved? Regardless, he looks good.

It looks like they painted it as if it were the scars on ROTS Anakin's face, but that's not the case with Ford/Solo, if I get something that blatant I'll be sending him back for replacement.

It does! Was a really nice day outside and I wanted to see just how my shots would look outside. Not too bad but I don't know how many more figures I'll do that with.

Some futzing but nothing major.

Mine has no marks at all, maybe there were 2 different factories painting these?
