Doesn't mean the bad weather was in Cali, could have been somewhere between Cali and East Coast and they had to land somewhere and make alternate arrangements to get here. Something significant happened to make it later, all my UPS stuff is on time but for this one.

I would have thought that but the lady on the phone specifically stated the hold up was due to weather in CA.

Keep your eyes peeling on your tracking page, I'd think PA and MA were on the same plane from CA and just split up once getting out here.

BadMoon, mine just arrived at the UPS facility in Horsham, PA. That usually means it will be at my house the next day. :chew

Well even if the hold up is in CA, doesn't mean it's CA weather, I don't know much about flights and such, but maybe there's only one route and destination they go for some shipments so it's the route or destination having bad weather so they don't even bother taking off from CA.

Just received this response from SSC 24 hrs after getting my RAS request approved:

Dear XXXXXXX,

Thank you for taking the time to contact our Returns Department.

We have spoken to our production team as well as forwarded the photos you provided of you 12” Han Solo as Smuggler figure. They have confirmed that the red marks on the chin of this figure are intentional. These marks are scars on the figure. As all of our products are hand made, there are variances in the paint application and some figures may have more prominent scars than others.

You are more then welcomed to return your figure to us for a refund of the product price or keep your figure as is. Please let me know how you would like to proceed and I will adjust your RMA to reflect your decision.

If your item is already returning to our warehouse, we will reship your item to you free of charge as a one time courtesy. However, if you prefer to receive a refund, please let me know so your Return Merchandise Authorization will be adjusted accordingly.

It seems like I'm stuck with ol' switchblade Solo. I really like this figure that's why I'm keeping him, but man eveytime I look at him I'm just drawn to his cut up chin.

We are in the same boat i guess:banghead

I'd ask for a refund and buy it from a Brick and Mortar store, or at a Con.
That way you can get a figure you like. Seems like some of the painters screwed it up big time, my Han barely has any signs of painted scars...

You could always get the refund and get Medicom's Han Solo. I bet that one doesn't even have the scars.

I can't even see the red on mine unless using a magnifying glass. But some very light flesh colored paint would mute it a bit I'm guessing.

You might be able to gently rub off some of the extra red. ?

That's what I was thinking. When I repainted the lips on my Anakin figure, I used a small controlled amount of acetone on a Q-Tip to swab the dark lip color off, and it didn't affect the skin paint. But you'd have to be careful and start with the smallest amount with the lightest pressure.

Perhaps some of our experienced customizers can chime in and confirm whether or not this will work??

Rub me what??
