Okay, so I'm not the only one with a mysterious "weather" delay on my Han. I even drove to my house today during my lunch break to pick him up (most UPS packages are delivered by noon for me), and I was really surprised to find an empty porch. My tracking page still says he's on time for delivery today (not bloody likely, since it's already after 7pm EST), but there was also a notice about bad weather from yesterday. Huh?

OK all, I'm back online from my move over the weekend.

It seems from reading the last 20 or so new posts that there's some unusual paint schemes out there for the chin scar -- especially JustinLuck's.

I've noticed something else...dare I say... that little green "tube" on Han's belt near the buckle seems to be crooked on almost every figure I've seen posted here!!! Mine included. It should be straight up level, not tilted to one side or at an angle. That's how I noticed it -- my magnet was messed up. Anyway, no biggie I guess, you can pull it off and glue it. But the belt seems to have a lot of issues...if it's not the magnet coming apart (as several others have mentioned) it's the crooked containers on the belt.

I like Han very much...but I do expect a little more care in the assembly process. Neither I nor SS should have to deal with a new belt every time.

I probably speak for everyone here when I say that I will literally be holding my breath, waiting to see what you can do with this!

...only please don't take too long, because from bitter experience I know that what usually happens is I pass out at some point and fall down and hurt myself.... Or wet my pants. That's not good.

That's what I was thinking. When I repainted the lips on my Anakin figure, I used a small controlled amount of acetone on a Q-Tip to swab the dark lip color off, and it didn't affect the skin paint. But you'd have to be careful and start with the smallest amount with the lightest pressure.

Perhaps some of our experienced customizers can chime in and confirm whether or not this will work??

I am not much of a customizer. But I have cleaned my share of paint off of figures. It was battle damage on 3 3/4" which I realize is quite a step removed from these Sideshow figures.

But what I used for delicate paint removal was Easy Lift Off on a Q-Tip. For this application I would recommend drying the q-tip after you dip it in the Easy Lift Off, almost completely. And roll the q-tip as you wipe to keep from smearing the paint.

As a warning...I have heard complaints that these cleaners damage the plastc of the figures. I am not saying that I refute that. But, it has not happened to me (yet). And I would guess that the minute amounts we are talking about will be OK.

Yeah, I agree Les, he definitely needs a repaint. I hope to repaint it soon so Trevor Grove's excellent sculpt gets the real credit it is due.

Mine also arrived today. For the most part, I'm pretty pleased with it. The chin scar paint isn't very noticeable on mine. The overall figure is a fantastic improvement over the Bespin Han, and I'm glad I got him.

I was supposed to get mine today from Fed Ex, so I check the tracking this afternoon and they've sent my package in the complete opposite direction it needed to go to get to the facility that delivers to my area. My package was in Nashville, TN Monday, Chattanooga, TN is the location that delivers to my area. Chattanooga is only 2 hours away from Nashville so no problem, it goes out Monday night and it's in Chattanooga this morning to be delivered to me this afternoon...or so you would think. Somehow my package got routed to Birmingham, AL...that's about 4 hours from Nashville and 3 hours from Chattanooga, and in no way shape or form in the right direction to my house...so I guess I'll wait one more day.

awesome sculpt and the paint on mine is great.
very good likeness and the eyes on mine are PERFECT.
I did a cool pic on my mobile phone of him talking to Jabba about sending twerps around,LOL.
