Nice work, Sean. This shot really captures Ford for me. Looks good.

Your Trevor tribute image is interesting. When I first looked at it, I thought it looked like it was created in Fractal Design Painter instead of Photoshop, especially with the "brush strokes" and filter usage. That's not a knock by any means, just an observation. Hadn't used that program in years myself now that Photoshop has most of those features. Your image just jogged my old "Painter" memories a bit... :) Cool tribute to a great sculptor...

Now, this figure has been pretty unanimously praised for the overall quality, so for my first batch of photos, I wanted to focus on the sculpt work which has been the only real point of contention amongst folks, I think it's really nicely done.
Huh? I thought most people thought the sculpt was very good and that it was the paint that was the point of contention.

Maulfan if I hadn't already bought this figure these pics would change my mind.
I'm still waiting on mine...I pray to God it gets here on the 3rd, I don't want it sitting in a warehouse over the 4th of July weekend...unless UPS works on Saturday?

Seeing images submitted by Badmoon and MF does make me look forward to receiving the figure. Thanks guys. :wacky

Well, what I meant was that it seemed like some even questioned whether a repaint would really bring it out, some have stood by the sculpt from the raw photos but there was some doubts I've heard, but really that and the Buck are the only questioned points I've caught, the costuming hasn't flagged anything.

This harrison ANH figure looks great and could easily take on 40 thieves..
Best likeness I have seen of the young harrison.. great pics too:D

I had the exclusive on pre-order but I cancelled it, and I'm glad I did. It's better than Bespin Han but still not great - there's something too doll-like (almost Tonneresque) about the face (or maybe paint job). I'm sure the sculpt itself is good, but I'm not seeing Han in it as much as I saw Luke in my Jedi Luke figure. However, I'll take care to have a look at it when it arrives in my local comic shop, just in case it looks better in hand then on my screen.

A shame, because this has been my most-wanted for years.

It most likely will look better to you in person, as I found a similar thing when I ordered the ANH Ceremonial Luke it didnt look real great on the computer pics , but when I actually recieved him he was great...

I'm uncertain about this one... I try not to take notice of the photos, if I did I would've cancelled a ginger haired, purple tunic Jedi Luke all that time ago! But this is not a sure-fire ANH Old Ben Kenobi that you could just tell was top notch.

I haven't got major alarm bells sounding like others here but I was gonna sell my Bespin Han (which wasnt that bad IMO) then thought better of it... just gonna wait to get him in hand and see how my paint apps come out etc etc

What's the deal with the holster? Is there suppose to be a piece of metal on the holster between the magnet and the strap? I just see a little indention where the strap should connect, but should there be metal there? Unfortunately, the strap won't stay down, like the magnet isn't strong enoung to attract the piece on the strap through the leather.

Guess I can ask for a replacement, but didn't know if there is a trick to getting the strap to stay down.

Thanks

Sounds like you may have a magnet problem, mine's the same way but the magnet holds.

Yeah, my magnet doesn't hold the best either, but its not nearly a big enough issue to send it back.

Thanks for the replies fellas! Yeah, I will probably contact them regarding a replacement belt since it won't stay down at all. They sent me a new cloak for ANH Obi-Wan b/c the one I received had a hole in it. Can't beat that kind of service!

You don't have to send the whole figure back for accessorie issues, they'll just send a replacement belt, contact CS about it.
No even still, its not worth it.

I don't want SSC wasting more money than they have to on a figure. I'd rather save $5 on the next figure than have them fix a weak magnet.

i have the same problem with my holster. i guess there is a small piece of leather or something that is supposed to be glued over the inside holster to keep the magnet in place. mine did not adhere. luckily it was still there along with the magnet. just a matter of getting the magnet in the right place with the leather and glue in place. lil' disappointed with that but its fixable. other than that im very happy with han. mine didnt have any of the funky chin color scars.

They have replacement stuff premade, I don't think it's going to spill over into the next figure's cost to get replacement parts, they may overcharge on products but I can't imagine they make other figures pricier to make up for replacement parts, that hurts folks who got good product paying to fix other people's.

I have needed to ask for about 3 or 4 replacement parts. They request pictures and send them out no problem. I praise the way they handle these situations. :duff

Well, my package finally arrived yesterday, but I haven't been able to take him out of the box yet, because......my son arrived two hours before my Han arrived!!!

My wife gave birth to our second child yesterday at 12:30, both wife and my son John are doing great!
