Well, my package finally arrived yesterday, but I haven't been able to take him out of the box yet, because......my son arrived two hours before my Han arrived!!!


My wife gave birth to our second child yesterday at 12:30, both wife and my son John are doing great!

Han showed up here today. Had him sent to my work place instead (since I spend SO much time there these days)...

Haven't pulled him out of the box yet, but my first impression is...he looks pretty good.

I'll get a shot or two up later tonight when I get home...

Hey, congratulations to you and your wife, Darthrazz.

Han came yesterday, and today was a half-day at work so I repainted him. Here he is (top is original, bottom's the repaint). I touched up his eyes, eyebrows, and lips. I'd muck around with his hair too but maybe some other time.

ETA: Did a little more tweaking with the hair color:

Howdy, gents. I've been lurking mostly now. Here's my offerings of Han. I think it's a great sculpt actually. It can be better but it's certainly better than the production photos make it out to be.

My only problems would be in his shirt, which is pure 100% white. The movies show it to be an off-white or tan color. The fabric should also be flat and not ridged. There should be wires in his collar so we could open up that shirt a little... he's too much of a square right now.

Second problem is that m holster cannot fit his blaster at all. I've opened it up as far as i could go without breaking it and no luck.

Third, his boots aren't sturdy enough and his feet are too small.

Thanks, Dean. Everything I had a complaint about was in the costume, and I'm sure you guys would all agree. My holster not working is probably just my own issue, but if you remove the boots, you'll see that his feet really ARE too small, which is why he keeps falling forward even though I had him pretty secure.

But argh, the shirt bothers me the most! It's not white! Is it??

Well I always thought it was more of an eggshell type of color. But it could just be the lighting in the cantina. Definitely not white though, perhaps a lighter cream?
