I thought the head sculpt paint was just fine, I don't see any issues with that.

Even if the dress was changed, could the headsculpt be painted to look more accurate?

You'd have to shrink it first. I've a mind to attempt doing this with some of that shrinky dink stuff.

Leia's got a big nogging, but that's about the only complaint I have with her. She's a nice figure.

Han, on the other hand, is simply frigging perfect!
I really really love that figure!

Have you checked out ToyAnxiety.com, I believe they're parting out this figure right now, or soon, and I think their SSC body and heads are $20 each.

Finally got my addition to ANH Han today. Looks much better with it, and so finally I take a picture (forgive the cell phone quality).

I just got my ANH Han from my favorite local retailer today. WOW!!!! I was really debating this figure, but after seeing the in hand shots, I had to get him. He is much better than the ESB Han. (In my opinion, he is still a great figure) Sideshow has their issues from time to time, but we should all remember the horror that was Kenner and Hasbro.

I'm very happy with my Han now after repainting the hair a lighter brown. I also painted over the "doll dot" in his eyes too,and changed the color of his lips. I'll post some pics soon.

Now, I may be repainting Luke's hair after I get him this coming Tuesday. I hear it looks "green"!

Can't wait to get him (and Luke)... waiting on receiving them from my friendly Canadian supplier-- I'm also waiting for the two Shaun of the Dead figs and the two hobbits... so it's been a loooooooooooooooong wait.

I have to say getting a new belt makes a big difference (to me anyway). Just something psychological but I think it helps the overall look of the figure and helps break up the dark line the other belt helped to create.

See the picture about 9 posts back. It's the correct, brown, two pronged German officer belt and not the black single non prong belt he came with.
