In light of the fact that Sideshow has not yet blessed us with a REAL 1:6 scale chewbacca, I have judged, and do hereby decree that it is not a complete and utter blasphemy against the very diety reigning supreme over the 1:6 scale collecting world, which would normally result in the offender suffering the fate of having broken shards of glass rubbed in their eyeballs for all eternity after they die, to pose a Hasbro Chewbacca with a Sideshow Han provided that it is understood that the following qulifications of said judgement still apply:


1) It most certainly MAY NOT be the faux-fur version.

And

2) The standard damnation to the normal lake-of-fire Hell will still be enforced.

I had got this bad boy today, which was a bit of a surprise as I'd completely forgotten I'd ordered him (I was drunk at the time). Superb figure, maybe not a perfect likeness of Harrison but the best yet. :chew

This is my first Sideshow figure and my first human character as normally I only collect Alien related stuff. How the hell do you get his hands off? I've tried but I'm paranoid about breaking the pins, so I'm trying not to be too "frisky". I gues it's going to be a case of gentle persuasion. I also appear to have one of the figures with te extra scars on his chin, not that it matters to me as the likenes and paint job is pretty stunning. The guns are wondefull too. Love that folding stock!

First thing I did was remove the bushy eyebrows then I yellowed the shirt some

Easy fix for the tough to replace hands is to take a really small drill bit one that just a little bigger than the hole. Lightly shave the sides down and it should pop on/off much easier. You can also use an exacto blade, but you have to be much more careful.

Don't damage them. That is not necessary. A steady, moderate pressure combined with twisting the hand back and forth works easily every time. Bend articulation so that the pin is as close to laying against the back (top) of the wrist as possible and do not worry about trying to push it on straight. It will go on from an angle just as easily. And simply do not push hard enough to cause concern about breaking the peg.

Aint that the truth. Holy moly, after getting the suckers off getting the un-gloved hands back on was a nightmare. The pegs were fine, I ended up a sweaty quivering mess.

I purchased a couple of German Officer Belts from monkeydepot.com and replaced the belts on my two Han Solo Figures. The second one is my "Custom" Endor Han Solo which essentially is a Bespin Han with ANH Han's vest!

Got my ANH Han and Luke on friday. I like them both but The first square pouch on the left hand side (as you look at it) of han's belt has been glued sideways on. Does anyone know how they are attached and if it is possible to remove it.

Had ago at repainting my Han, filled in the gaps at the hip with wet cotten wall and adjust when i but the belt back on to get the shapei want and gave him a pair of those realistic leather jack boots. Once i repaint Yavin Luke i m going to have Han with a medal from a extra luke next to him.

My Han is in the hands of Small Studios at the moment getting a fresh paint up.

Some of them do bt that one doesn't seem to. i didn't want to try to hard in case it broke.

Got 5 regular Han Solos (i have a store). All had the wrong blaster. They all have the Greedo Killer instead of the regular one. Anybody else with that problem?
