No, agreeing with me doesn't have anything to do with being an apologist. Its the always finding a reason to back SSC, calling them "decisions" and saying "we don't know why they did it, but I'm sure it makes sense" or "I know SSC well enough to know they'd never slack on something".

Its just the process of helping SSC avoid fault that makes someone an apologist.

I guess. I think you can understand or say those things and not be one but it what it is.

Yep, a little light-handed sanding with a fine sandpaper. Just to fray it a bit in places. It won't take the weave out -- it will just create worn areas, more like the proto had.

He looks damn good overall... although still a bit of the squinty eye, almost the opposite of Han's mannequin eyes.

So how do you all feel about the tunic weave texture now that pics are coming out?

Personally I'm not as bothered by it as I once was. I was planning on replacing it for sure, but now I don't know. It's not as nice as the prototype but still decent I think. Guess I'll know better when in hand.

I think the material is fine but its not thick enough. I don't know if they could use the same material but a touch thicker. Also the color is not right or at least not right enough in the pics.

I much prefer the one on the proto...as there is no weave visible, more like the real character. But so far this tunic isn't as bad as was first feared. Got to see it in hand myself. The weave is clearly visible though, so it's never going to be a great tunic.

I moved. New groovy place, but no kitchen counter. No more kitchen shots. Ever.

I have yet to get a figure at my new digs, so I have to see where my new pics will be shot. Luke will be first here.

Perhaps a whole new level of naughtiness... a new hope...
