No no and a thousand times no. The characters varied greatly across the movies and so they require new sculpts. I mean really.. ONE Luke for 3 movies or a better example, one Leia for 3 movies?

And Chavez, really, what explaining do they have? Will you shut up if you see a Vader at SDCC? I can promise over half the figures on that list Shropt posted will never be made.

Quite true. And I can promise that I wouldn't buy 80% of the figures on that list if they did make them.

Agreed, I'd be happy if they hit just about all the vintage Kenner figures and a nice amount of PT characters. That would be quite the line right there and anything extra is just gravy.

And, really, what rational person has a problem with Sideshow making 4 Lukes before 1 Ryoo Naberrie? Look, I'm suffering from Luke burnout as much as the next person (mostly thanks to Hasbro's previous shenanigans), I hated and sold my Yavin Luke and will only buy 1 more potentional Luke, but I can completely understand why Sideshow would make EVERY possible incarnation of Luke and other characters before they'd even consider a lot of the ones on that list.

Im just saying that what you want is completely unrealistic. One sculpt to represent a character that changed greatly over the course of 3 films is, IMO, ridiculous. Leia alone will always require new sculpts because of the ever changing hair. Luke will because of how drastically Mark Hamills face changed after the car accident and Harrison Ford put on a few lbs as the films went on.

I agree with Memnoch. 1 head accessory packs would be lame. I like to keep things fresh with new head sculpts with every release.

I also agree about Shropt's list. I wouldn't buy most of the stuff on there and I really doubt SS will dig THAT deep anyway to get figures... Thankfully.

Why not have both? I too like the all-new headsculpts on each figure (which is why I though the Sith Anakin ex should have at least had new hair) but I would also like SSC to consider separate clothing and accessory packs. This would benefit collectors as well as customizers.

Luke is the center of the OT... if you don't like it there really isn't a lot SS can do about it.

Another reason why Im glad that we are getting Luke, he is a guaranteed seller. Sure it might not be super quick but he WILL sell. That is all money that will be reinvested into the armor, droids and Chewbacca. I bet though it will be a cold day in Hell before we see something like Jabba done again. I think SS took a massive hit on him the way places like EE were clearing him out.

For example, how about the ability to purchase all of the different types of Jedi robes separately. How about all of the weapons? Ponchos? Boots and belts? Headgear? Think of all of the possbilities.

These one-off figures are great, but Sideshow would open up a whole new world of 1/6 Star Wars if they offered ad-hoc accessories, weapons and clothing. Collectors could basically customize existing figures to resemble their preferred look and incarnation of that character... and customizers would be creating all kinds of new and original stuff. Everyone wins.

And the idea of one Luke head for all the movies is just bad... his face, more than most changed dramatically between the 3 films. It just wouldn't work... and even for the other characters it'd be a bad idea.

I'm not planning on buying that list but I'm not planning on buying any more Lukes either. I'm still attempting to get a complete Luke Jedi and that is all.

Luke being the center of the OT is great but there are many more fans out there right now who would buy 4 Anakins before buying 4 Lukes (as much as I hate to admit it).

And again, I am not arguing about the ANH Luke. Its an awesome Trevor sculpt and will be a great figure. My question is why so soon? Hell, even Trevor himself was surprised it was released so soon.

The reason for it so soon is probably because it rounds out the 4 human heroes of ANH before the LFL dictated end of the 30th Celebration. Either that or they just wanted to piss off a bunch of people. Either way they did it

Touche. But Prajji is a representative back ground character that people can look at know what they need to know (ie Hey, thats an Imperial Officer). As opposed to some dude where one's reaction will be "Who d'at?"
