The only one that was unquestionably awesome was the Bespin Luke sculpt that Andy Bergholtz did that was rejected by the retards at Lucasfilm.

I actually preferred the one they went with. So did Andy, for that matter (I know, I know, he's eternally modest!)

That actually looks pretty damn good!
What with Obi, Palps/Sid 2 pack and now this the SST SW line is getting a lot stronger (I know it's boring, and I hate to go on and draw a neg, but bin the buck and get a new bod and we'd have a first class figure!).

A new body should be a no brainer for a company like SS.Which is why I get so frustrated for them not having made a new body yet.

Andy has no idea what he is talking about. It may have been to wind-swept, but I think it was a flawless likeness. The one they released isn't horrible, but I prefer Andy's.

Wow...just had a look at the 360...

Nice use of shadow and light...gives the view a lot of character

The outfit looks fantastic! Those leggings are really impressive. And...thanks to the baggy nature of the tunic and the pants, it'll look really good in a variety of poses.

Still would like to see some close-ups of that head sculpt....but so far, so good!

Even though I like the character of ESB Luke, I had to skip it because of the sculpt. If they had released Andy's version, I would have purchased it in a heartbeat.

I am very happy the ES are smaller now - when they started doing 5000, 6000 a run, it was resulting in too many sitting on shelves....

plus, it keeps these collectible. I forgot Jedi Luke is 1250, now with excl ANH Han, Luke, Leia, Old Ben being 1977, it will keep these a bit more collectible

I think the outfit and tailoring are superb. And the straps on the boots are really nicely done as well. I really can't wait to see how looks in person, all the ANH figures together are gonna look awesome!

It's not a bad sculpt. In person it is pretty close.

I actually was hoping the ES would be bigger on this one because I was hoping to score a standard one cheap to replace the ++++ty sculpt on the Yavin Luke.

Well seeing as how it wasn't in the "shipping in 30 days" we should be able to narrow it to May or June, but that category is extremely unreliable.

It's not the sculpt, it's the paint job. The prototype looked pretty damn good.
