Pay $70 more just to make the Yavin Luke better? I just can't justify it. One of my biggest complaints with the Yavin Luke is the sleeve length of the jacket. They're way too long (they have to be considering they have to cover the arms of the Buck). For me the Yavin Luke is a lost cause and not worth investing more into.

That said, if I really wanted a new head for him, I'd probably wait for a Stormie Luke or X-Wing Luke since you'd still have some decent extra pieces for a custom besides the head.

There isn't much you can do with extra ANH Luke outfit.

I may just scour around for a loose head and body in the end, but I've always like the Yavin costume, just thought the paint apps and sculpt felt a little rushed and I think the Yavin outfit with this Luke portrait would be pretty good looking.

I have the exclusive on order, but may get another for the parts. The head for Yavin Luke and the body to Jedi Luke. Maybe I'll get another head to make Stormtrooper Luke from one of my Marmits?

They will. No doubt about it. (I won't be doing it though because I am PERFECTLY happy with my Yavin Luke.

Some people may want to buy the clothing for weathered versions in addition to factory versions, or could even use the parts for something else. Luke's shirt almost has a Kung-Fu type style to it. That's the beauty of customizers, they can turn something like Luke's shirt into part of an ensemble you'd never thought it could become.

Most of their SSC body&heads they part out are about $17. I think if you can find the Luke at that it will be a steal.

If it has loose parts like Bespin Luke had, I'll just keep the lousy body for Yavin as my Jedi Luke has nice, tight joints.

Yeah, I just wanted to fix Jedi Luke's monkey arms, you know? I LOVE Yavin Luke's outfit, its just the head that bugs me. I want an extra saber for him too. When the time comes I'll try to hit some (hopefully) sales. I'm too impatient to wait for an X-Wing Luke. With all the griping, I'm betting this will be the last Luke for a while. I don't mind getting more, but yes, we do need...oh, I don't know...maybe a Wookie, Sith Lord, Troops or a pair of Droids?

I need to compare the 2 figures with the shirts off. With the clothes on, I honestly do not see a difference in arm length.

Also, I don't know much about the Dragon figures and whether the SSC head will fit on it, but Monkey Depot carries a "slim" body. Maybe he is also shorter?

Jedi Luke was the only one with the longer arms. The other Lukes have had proportional arms.
