The closer they can get the production paint to that sculpt, the greater the improvement on the prototype it will be. I think the proto's cool, but it can be a whole lot better. This sculpt is proof. That is Mark Hamill.

I like everything about that sculpt except for how tall the head looks on the frontal shots. The face is Luke thru and thru.

lets all hope the paint job does the sculpt justice...then again i do sometimes feel like i'm the only person who gets the SideShow figures who's actually happy 99.5% of the time to stay with original paintjobs...

That is the plan. Although I don't need to get two, usually a little after release you can find just the body with HS on eBay.

Thanx for posting the pics... I hadn't seen them before. I love unpainted proto shots. You can really view the quality of the sculpt unencumbered by the application of paint.
Unpainted shots look fantastic. SS should start selling these with a No paint option for $35 less then we can have other's paint them right!
Sculpt is dead on but that don't mean much without good paint. Heres hopin!!!

Sculpt really is amazing... I'd say its as good a ANH Luke as Trevor did on the ANH Han. So these 2 may be the set to own
