Seeing the raw sculpt makes me really excited for this figure... after seeing the improvement from Bespin Han to Smuggler Han I've real interested to see if Luke can keep the trend.

Well, I should be getting my 3-day notice about this figure being charged to my credit card soon. Sideshow sent me a 10 to 12 day notice that it would be in their warehouse, and that was on June 26.

Not necessarily. But yeah it's probably gonna happen. I don't remember too much unhappiness when Ben was released. If the paint is good, not many people ^^^^^ and moan.

It's really all about likeness showing through the sculpt and paint, the panic comes because that usually is lost in some preliminary photos. We were fortunate that the first in hand shots were from an artist and presented in very nice lighting, I think even Ben might have caused panic in flash flooded images with nothing else to go by.

For better for worse the paint apps are almost exactly the same as the prototype... That is good news... sort... SS may have ironed out some QC issues.

I dunno about the hair tho.. looks a bit dark... I remember Luke being dirty blonde... may just be my memory thoough....
