Hellboy and Original Predator.

I ordered a bunch of 12" including a couple Old Bens because of the absurdly low prices. Got cancellation notices for everything except my Vader which supposedly will be on its way. I'll be happy if I at least got that out of it.

Out of curiosity, when did you order? Also, was your order over $100? Did you get a phone call from CSERV to verify that, indeed, you had made it?

Well this is not looking good, but I'm still holding out hope that I'll get a HT Joker (Bank Robber). I haven't heard anyone mention ordering him in this thread so I assume (hope) he wasn't a big seller during the ordering. I haven't received any notifications since the phone call I received verifying my order on Sunday. My card still has a hold for the funds, but the payment has not been processed. I was thinking of ordering a HT Two-Face also, but don't think I'll do that now. I'd rather pay extra at BBTS to be sure that I get the item than go through this again.

Just for the heck of it, I pulled up the gohastings website and looked for the Joker in nearby stores. There are a couple of stores in neighboring states to me that show the item as "Likely in Store". So, if they are sourcing out the orders to their stores, I'm hopeful I will still receive him. Sounds like it's just taking them a while to sort through the orders and outsource the stock. I'm sure the amount of orders they've received is far beyond their usual number and I'm sure they have not increased their staff to handle it. I'm going to keep holding out hope, but I'm not too optimistic at this point.

I sympathize with you guys. The same thing happened to me a few years ago when I placed an order for the first Premium format Hellboy figure from Tower Records on sale at $150 and was later told they sold out all their stock so I wasn't getting one.
Keeping track of your stock online should be the easiest thing to do, and yet companies keep screwing it up.

I guess I can understand there being issues when you have your stock tied in with that of the brick-and-mortar stores, but it still seems odd that there could be such a difference between the listed stock and the stock actually available. They had quite a number of Iron Man figures shown as being in stock. Has anyone actually gotten one shipped yet? I don't recall.

I can't say I'm TOO surprised, While Sideshow stuff isn't cheap anymore, it seems like the highest price sort of item as far as collectibles go that a place like Hastings would carry, I'm really surprised they even had Hot Toys.
