I just checked my order status. Are you ready for this? In the morning it said Processing. Then I get the email with the cancellation. I checked my status a minute ago and it says "shipped via 2nd air mail" (I chose that option). WTF????? Let me check my debit card to see if it's been charged.

Ok, my card hasn't been charged, which means I'm probably getting SHIATS.

That is odd for it to say that.

My CC has a hold charage on it for Iron Man since I placed the order, weird thing, my Toht didn't actually turn into a charge for like 2-3 days after he shipped, I was starting to think I might get it free

That's why until everything's all said and done, I don't trust a lot of stuff going on with this place, their system and all seems a little iffy and a pain to deal with, but for 30% off high priced figures, I can endure it.

I just don't understand what the purpose of the online stock indicator was if it didn't have some relation to how many things they actually had available to sell.

I don't have any news of any kind for my orders. No shipping notices or cancellations. But if they're not going to fulfill the order you would think they would just cancel it and get it over with. So maybe there's still hope.

My guess is they didn't do a lot of business regularly, to offer 30% off all those items suggests to me they were stuck with inventory. Some of these operations that don't do heavy, regular business but still offer products like this can keep poor track of things. Someone sells one in a store but doesn't update the system right and the website still thinks it's there, etc. It sucks but seems the price with some of these deals at these sites that don't specialize in this stuff, if you can get it to work out, you can make out with great deals, but there's a chance it doesn't pay off either.

Just to keep everyone else's hopes up, I have a theory about my order: There's a possibility that because I requested 2nd air mail and they took too long to ship, they rather cancel my order than ship it and then have me call and request a refund for shipping since it took them too long to send it. I did speak to 2 different customer service representatives and asked them (nicely) why my order hadn't even shipped if I chose 2nd air. I don't know, I'm just speculating. That, or they are just a bunch of idiots.

Well, I went with standard shipping and I haven't said a word to them, the only contact I've had was the phone call they made to verify that I placed the order for Iron Man.

That's the thing. It's conceivable that the only reason we haven't gotten cancellation notices is that customer service hasn't gotten around to it yet, or that our orders have just fallen through the cracks. I guess if I don't hear anything by the end of the week, I'll call.

I ordered a bunch of 12" including a couple Old Bens because of the absurdly low prices. Got cancellation notices for everything except my Vader which supposedly will be on its way. I'll be happy if I at least got that out of it.
