Yup - same here. HT Ant-Man is definitely a pass (only so my wallet can recover from AOU) and a smaller scale figure will suffice until the Infinity War line for me.

I plan on getting this eventual version and hope we get a larger scale Hot Toys Giant Man version for Civil War.

If Scott really does "become" Giant Man in CW, i'm definitely getting this version. Scott Lang isnt Giant Man to me. Giant Man's persona only feels right to be Hank for me and even Bill Foster as Goliath. Scott will, and always be Ant-Man for me so yeah. Haha I don't think Scott has even become Giant Man in the 616 verse though Im not sure if there's an Ultimate Scott. I know that Hank was Giant Man in both the 616 and Ultimate universes though. I'm not even the biggest fan of seeing him grow bigger at all. But oh well, at least we're getting Scott and Cassie in this universe. Hell, they should save the growing for Cassie when she hopefully becomes Stature.

I honestly know very little about Ant Man lore or comic history, the movie could go either way, but I love the look of the suit. If the film is good that may solidify me on getting a Hot Toy. Regardless, I will get the select and that will be an excellent stand in. It would be fun to make a small scale replica black oval stand so it legitimately looks like a scaled down Lang among your other figures. Entertainment earth is already sold out of the Select Ant Man!

Marvel Select Disney Store Exclusive Ant-Man figure

I think this bodes well for a Rudd Likeness from HT :dance

The more toys I see of the black-out version, the more I hope HT will make a 1/6 scale variant.

What is the black out version? Is it something that happens in the movie, or just like an exclusive type figure?

Not saying that it's a solid source, but the lego set comes with it too and it's labeled Hank Pym. I'm thinking Hank suits up in a flashback or something along those lines.

I've read that Hank is actually the villain of the movie, or at least the main man behind the scenes of whatever goes down
