Now that's just plain cool looking and I want one.

Still leaning toward just getting the regular on this one. Where is this unique lightsaber design from anyway??
elwood49 said:Not to contribute to that, but check out page 2 of this thread.

Memnoch21 said:The yellow saber is from a time when Jedi could still have any color blade imaginable (aka before Clones). All figures and games and such had Plo with a yellow lightsaber. Clones came around and put the kaibosh on that.
elwood49 said:Sorry, I thought you meant the gauntlet by the "unique design." He has a yellow saber in the video game, "Jedi Power Battles".
His blade is blue in AOTC, which is why I'm suprised SS chose the green color for him with the figure. I suppose they did that because of the concept art?
However, his saber handle in AOTC is the same as Mace's in Ep. I, so this is presumably an Ep. II figure. The blade should be blue.

Memnoch21 said:The gauntlet and the yellow saber are two different items. The yellow saber was in all LFL approved merchandise up until Clones. The gauntlet comes from LFL Archive pre-production art work. Yellow saber and gauntlet no no connection. It's just that most of us thought the yellow saber would make a good exclusive and wanted that like Mace's Phantom saber.
That would be great. It would make a very nice contrast...of course I could always use Mace's episode I saber so he isn't holding three green blades. Or I could always try being really brave and painting one...anyone here have any ideas on whether that coulf work or would be a completely foolish idea?Wor-Gar said:I hope SS gives us the double-blade in green like the concept art and the regular AOTC saber in blue when its delivered.
