But see here's the problem. You can't let well enough alone. You got to put your little stick in there of "people killing and abusing animals think it's right, I can't change that..."You're trying to appear "superior" to us "meat eaters". Deny it all you want, I'm sure I'm not the only one picking up on it.

You're not the only one, H.

Then why keep coming back here?.....:tap

It's all for the attention, Jinxxy.

Vegetarians have pale skin that disgusts me.
:lol :lol My thing is that animals are horribly treated everyday from their owners so why would an animal getting mistreated at a meat factory cause me to not eat meat? :dunno I is sucky that animals get treated like that but that ain't going to stop me from going to cookout and eatin' a burger, hot dog, ribs, ect.

I and others have said they don't care one bit that you are a vegetarian, but you gotta keep digging with the smart ass comments. I could give a flying ^^^^ that some animal bit the dust so I could have meat for dinner. If that makes me some Cro-Magnon who is just learning to walk erect then I just have one word for you UG (my best caveman impersonation)

LOL i second your UG

I had this argument with a "vegan" who then took rolling paper out of his leather wallet. I could care less if someone eats meat or doesnt..I do however hate when people tell me what i should eat or wear because it goes against their beliefs.

i do not like to see animals suffer. so i eat them when they are already dead.

I don't see anything wrong about consuming meat, but you do. Care to explain?

Animals are drugged, abused, tortured and killed in the most gruesome ways... by eating meat, you support that... if that's OK with you, then as I said... I can't help you...

There's plenty of information out there if you're really curious about it...

Sensationalized crap by PETA. I want your point of view.

I hate PETA...
:lecture

See above for my point of view...

It is sad that many places mistreat animals prior to the slaughter. I wish it weren't so. I am an animal lover and love my pets. But I'm not going to stop eating meat because it is what a carnivore does. Too much work to be a healthy vegetarian or vegan and limited options

Not really, it's actually easier to be a vegetarian here in the US than in other parts of the world...

You're not the only one, H.
Get a room... :lol

No it's not... Cabrón... Jinxx keeps asking me all this questions...

I've been hearing in the media the last couple of years and "some" leading scientist that the human race is responsible for "climate change" due to pollution and the continued usage of natural resources. China, being one of the top, if not the top polluter due to lack of regulations is one of the main exporters of the goods we use everday. In fact some if not most of your collectibles are produced in China. By continuing to collect these items, and watch TV and listen to music, you support China destroying the Earth. If that's ok with you then I have nothing further to add.

The ultimate meal! Although I slightly over cooked the meat.

No guilt, no remorse, hell if they told me to I would have no problem butchering my own meat. Honestly, and I do mean honestly, I would probably be a bit sad. However, that would go away the second I put the juicy piece of meat in my mouth. :lol

Damn! I was going to ask you where to get that until I read that you made it. Looks very good.

The food chain is kill or be killed, but we don't have to live like that anymore. Do we have to hunt for food nowadays? No. I'm just trying to state that there other options now for people, unlike animals in the wild - so using that as a reason for eating meat just doesn't work for me.

I find someone choosing to be vegan/vegetarian admirable, learning what I have about the cruelty done to animals so that we can simply enjoy the food. Not everyone will feel the same. I'm just going to leave it at that.

Opinions aren't any less valid because they're in the minority - history teaches us that. Just because you think it's right to eat meat, doesn't automatically make it right. See the circular argument here? Nobody's going to win.

Food chain does not equal kill or be killed. Kill or be killed is the creedo of survival. The food chain is simply what eats what. The idea that human have evolved beyond eating meat as has been posted priviously in this thread, not by you, josette, is ludicrous. What we eat has absolutley nothing to do with whether we NEED to hunt or not. We also do not NEED to grow our own vegetables as the can easily be found in the produce department at any grocery store the same as meat can be found in the meat section.

I have absolutely no problem with people who chose to go vegetarian (by the way, for the record...vegetarian is correctly defined as either including or excluding dairy products, so I don't do the vegetarian/vegan differentiation, I feel stupid typing the word vegan). But I do find it to be ludicrous when vegetarian proponents attempt to manipulate people into their way of thinking by coming up with the most ridiculous reasons to not eat meat like we have evolved beyond the necessity, or the cruelty complaint. I think there are more important things in the world to demonstrate about than whether the cow feels pain while he is getting prepped to be the main course. There is not a single valid reason in the world to attempt to change the world view on eating animal flesh. I can understand individuals not partaking in it if they find it to be gross. I don't eat humans, or rats because I find them to be gross. But I don't run around trying to get others to do things my way.

I would have more respect for the vegetarian who told me that if I did not eat meat, I would have fewer stinky farts. But I still wouldn't go vegetarian.

Edit - Eat meat. "That's the way dad did it. That's the way America does it. And it's worked out pretty well, so far."

So where did you get this info from? Were you a farmer/butcher/neanderthal/PETArd once?....I eat meat, so what?....You yourself said you consume dairy products and chicken eggs. By eating animal by-products, aren't you perpetrating the same sin!?:confused::confused:

I just find it funny how some people get all worked up on a topic that's of no interest to them...

Read the name of the thread...

Any Vegetarians on This Board?

And all of the sudden, dozens of non-vegetarians decide to post comments to try to yank chains and rattle cages, because "Meat is God's given gift to Humans"...
That's cool and all, but why bother to post on a thread you obviously have no business in?... :dunno

Anybody else see the pattern here?...
:horror

Last I checked this was a discussion forum. I also didn't notice the thread title stating "Vegetarians only". A question was asked and people responded and gave their opinions. That's all. If someone comes into a toy review and says that sucks without giving reasons why people get get all upset. At least in here people have been posting reasons why they do or do not eat meat.

I wouldn't post a damn thing in this thread if you wouldn't post stuff like this.

"Yeah I've never understood the mentality either...
It's like some stupid caveman memory embedded in our brains...

That's what happened to me, I am still disgusted about how animals are treated, and I just can't understand how people can ignore the fact that
these animals are brutally massacred..."

So not only are meat eaters cavemen but stupid cavemen. I can't ignore the brutality of all the innocent vegetables you and your kind are devouring. Especially stuff like Baby Spinach, they've just started living for goodness sake. And sweet onions and sweet potatoes. How can you eat anything that is so sweet. Sweet corn and sweet peas and honey dew, :monkey2 why, WHY what did they ever do to you. I think I'm going to puke from the horror.

animals eat other animals, why can't we join in on the action too.
