Wow, Fantastic.

I put an order in. Shipping UPS ground in the US was just $15. :D

I like Code3's ships - I picked up all the rest, but not this one yet.

Actually, I tried to order it from them direct when it was first announced. It was advertised with a free case, and I went for it. But, my CC company had mistakenly put a lock on my card for what they percieved as a questionable charge during the time the order was set to process.

Code 3 never contacted me to try to resolve the situation. I sent them an email, asking that the order be reinstated, and they never responded. The customer service compared to a company like Sideshow is Night & Day. Oh well, in the end I just end up saving some good money, and their lack of support costs them a direct sale.

Also, it has been ages since Code 3 has announced a new item in the SW vehicles category. I get the feeling they really going down the tubes, which is a shame, as they make a nice product. It can't compare with a MR replica in size or quality, but the prices aren't so outrageous either. Looking at my existing Falcon, the mold is excellent, and I really appreciate the metal construction. The paint application is so generic though. I would love to see a quality custom repaint of that item one day. To be fair, the falcon was one of their first efforts, and paint quality did go up. The Slave 1 is outstanding IMO.

End of mini-rant ;) :peace

Just decided to bite the bullet on the upcoming MR Falcon, but if you notice, alot of available replicas of Han's ship just aren't in the proper dimension with itself. Even modeling companies like MPC and Ertle can't get the front mandibles narrow enough. The Japanese company Finemolds just did an incredible version of the Falcon thats only around $300, the down-side is you have to assemble it yourself from Japanese instructions. As far as the Code 3 X-Wing, this is the best rendition of the Lukes ship yet, even suprerior to the ICONs peice! I couldn't resist Darth Vader's Tie at this price. After SDCC and finally, seeing some choice pieces from MR in way of vehicle replicas and Sideshow potentially offering a potentially endless collection of 12" figures, I've decided that my prior collection will probably become obsolete.

Hi Everyone,

I wonder where all the signature versions are? :D

At $99.99, it's a great deal for the regular one. All though the SE is a nicer base.

Thanks,
Mike

Jason. He's a great guy and I talk to him every now and then but he's just really busy with his store and site. I've gotten several things from him and he's one of the best with Mike, Adam, and Bob.

Well, I had resisted buying any more of the Code 3 (had the X-Wing, but had to sell it to finance other items), but I couldn't resist the deal Entertainment Earth had going:

Code 3 Tie, GG Anakin Reveal Vader Bust shipped for 129 (had a 10 dollar coupon). I never could bring myself to spend 50 bucks for the Vader bust, seeing as I already had the original ROTS bust.. but I couldn't resist at that price. Dammit, now I have to find another X-wing to go with it DOH!

i really hate living in britain sometimes!!!

On the uk ebay the cheapest i can find is aourn £250 almost $500!!!

Also bt of an unrelated question but i have never under stood this

https://www.code3.net/product/detail.asp?item=17028

This movie poster has luke with the red saber and vader with the blue how did they get this so wrong??

I never noticed that the lightsabers were backwards but I was never that interested in those.

I was just looking at mostwantedcellectibles. They have it for $99 and about $110 shipping to the UK. I know that is a huge shipping charge but it way better then the $500 you were looking at.

onix36div...... $110 is about what I paid for shipping for an x-wing from the states just before xmas last year so that would be about right, its a fair bit more going the other way though and $210 is only about £110 which could probably incurr about £30-£40 import tax and handling charge so even at £150 delivered its still relatively cheap for here..... if I didnt already have one I would jump on it myself.

Although if your patient (which I wouldnt be) there are a few uk stores on ebay that had a fair few gunships below £100 delivered a while ago as well as the 3d posters fairly cheap after they had been out a while so they may get the tie in too at a good price.

Already have a Tie ( wish I only paid $99 for it ). Show me a Slave 1 for $99 and I am all over it! Slave 1 can still be had for a good price of around $200, but I don't liek the ship enough for $200 right now, but $99 would sway me to make the buy.
