I wouldn't go for a black one. There were none in the films so....

Neither were the black Hot Toys T-700 but still ;) I'm curious though of these new Endos, the Aoshima black one and the chromed version (if it is chrome this time or still silverish).

Still interested in seeing an actual picture of the new chrome version... but I don't get the sense that it will have a mirrored surface.

I didn't buy the T-700 either. :lol There simply was no such thing in T4. All the toy companies were misled on that one methinks.

Of the Aoshimas I expect the "chrome" one is and would be more popular. Not worth it if isn't at least painted with some attempt at an all-over chrome look though. Sculptwise and articulation-wise it has nothing to recommend it over the Hot toys endos I already have.

These aoshima endo sculpts are very out-dated, since they were initially released in 2004. Aoshima should've refined the sculpt before releasing them.

Got mine yesterday. It's much heavier than the HT's T-700 because it has diecast metal parts (sorry, I don't have the HT T-800 to compare it to). Also glad it came with 2 weapons so I can give one to the T-700 which sadly came only with a stand.

agreed. t-700 is sad with no weapon...

The new Aoshima Endo looks exactly like the old one, they only added 2 rifles and a different box. Did anyone get the black version though?

the only thing keeping this from beating ht is the non movable figures

I guess you mean 'fingers'? ;) Anyway this is a real cool figure and I like mine a lot, but besides the fingers and toes that are not so good as Hot Toy's version, Aoshima doesn't come with painted teeth either alas.

i almost bought an aoshima endo couple yrs ago. the weathered version looks pretty convincing, but one thing still bothers me most is the head. it not the paint job, the shape of its head looks off to me compared to the ht ver.

I wish they painted the teeth.

I'm not sure anyone has yet totally nailed the head-shape. Isn't the HT one slightly too elongated? Also the chin doesn't stick out enough in profile. Much like McFarlane's 7" the chin forms too much a straight line with the face compared to the film endos. Same goes for the new T-600 endo from HT.
