Yeah those pics of the "chrome" version look terrible. Even worse than the first effort. I don't think I will be going for this. Very disappointing that I can't find a chrome endo.

Sideshow also has them for sale:

I'm getting the old version of the Chrome Aoshima Endo right now in a trade at SSF. I also have both Hot Toys Endoskeletons - regular and battle-damaged.

I'm curious how will the new Aoshima chrome Endo be different from the old version. The new one includes 2 weapons (not just the plasma rifle), but everything else seems to be the same with the old one: chrome color (more like silver), no white teeth, no light up eyes, metal die-cast etc. Anyone knows more?

The black one looks odd, but at least seems to have white teeth...

These figures are no way worth the money at all, i think Aoshima made plastic versions first of these back in the day. I am really hoping Hot Toys would make a all new sculpted head for another T-800 release and maybe re-tool the body for a opening compartment for the endo's fuel cell, which would be removable...and hell, maybe removable brain chipset as well, Hot Toys are known for detail as its obvious on their military figures.

This is an original, untouched version from Aoshima purchased awhile ago. Thought you guys may want to see it next to a HT Endo.

why don't they paint the teeth, how cheap can a company be?

I don't mind the old Aoshima version (the one I'm getting in a trade here on SSF) doesn't have painted teeth - at least it is excusable since it was released before HT Endo. But I do mind that their new Endo comes exactly like the old one, without painted teeth... :(

Well, there's a thread here where someone did an awesome chrome paint job on a HT T-800. They discus techniques and material. So, if you are skilful...
Here's the link

Yeah I saw that before. Problem is I don't currently own a T-800 in anything so I first need to find a figure and I would much rather find one that is already chromed for me. Not to say that I couldn't do it, just that I want one company to get it right finally.:banghead

Making any improvement would cut into profit. They have the molds, dies already. Just a new paint job needed. THAT's why I hope that HT gets the idea to do a chrome version of the HT T-800 Endo, all they need is a new paint job. :)

Not sure if this is the information you're asking more of, but Aoshima produced two Endo's, back in the day. I think the other was a battle damaged version, with a different weapon.

Dont like it at all.Overpriced and not with such detail as HT endo. But thinking about buying one for customs and the AR 18 to use in my police officer T1 custom

I know of the old 2 versions, I mentioned in my first post :). The new Endos come with both rifles.
