Totally agree man. It's not that SS doesn't have the artistic ability to put out a beautiful statue. They just have themselves spread to thin in the name of greed and revenue. They can't handle everything being put out right now yet the POs keep coming. Slow down. Go back to your roots and make quality a focus. Seems so easy.
Yeah I agree. When I first started collecting from SS. It felt like every few months there was an announcement for an upcoming piece or two. Now it's practically every week. This year I have the most POs I've ever had. SDCC is coming up. I'm just hoping it's more coming soon and not pre order today announcements. If they're going to keep increasing the volume of pieces. Just give us a listing for the year and let us pick and choose accordingly.
It's the other way around for me. I just checked my order list and counted the PO for the last few years. I am on the right path!

I talked to SS this morning and they said that this guy was taking longer to ship as they were checking each piece before shipping.
That's good to hear. Maybe this will force them to start being better about QC now. The should really do this with all their stuff before sending out. Have a guy at the warehouse check each one. I am sure we all wouldn't mind waiting a week to get a perfect statue.

You can transfer a NRD once your product is delayed.
Meaning you bypass the 'once only' rule.
If a product is delayed...which most are...Sideshow will usually let you transfer your NRD.

So I got apoc yesterday…I will say it appears I am in the minority bcz my piece is perfect…like just fantastic…not a single blemish, paint blur, etc…the only thing I noticed was when I was unpacking the arm attachments there was liquid residue in the plastic packaging; so when I saw this i instantly thought wet paint/qc issues but somehow it turned up flawless. based on the smell alone however you can tell that these things weren't given time to properly dry, and thats the main reason why, imo, some of the paint issues are arising. I am VERY pleased with the overall piece; it looks great, is my biggest pf to date, and has a presence like whoa. Id highly recommend it!
In regards to the debate about qc issues and SS/XM and refunds, I would say this: if ANYONE orders a piece, from whatever company, they're entitled to a perfect piece. No flaws, nothing, and if you don't like it, the company should bend over backwards trying to fix it and remedy the situation. Its as simple as that. Idc about your factory, chinese workers, any other excuse like costs, etc. I pay money, you give me statue…everything else is on you. We pay good, good money for these pieces, and yes they should do everything in their power to ensure we get a great statue, but if/when we don't, they should offer more than a $25 discount. Get me a replacement that has been checked, ship it out express, etc, but fix it! Simple as that.
